Maybe it’s about growing up from more innocent to more mature stage of life. At the beginning they were playing in pool like kids, but one of them was fed up and run away for adventure. She wanted to be adult and she was pulled to this wand. The wand is basically unlocked in them, gave them power of be more powerful. And for a while they were fighting in they’re minds with themselves but the new ones, more dark, risky, mature. In the end they won, but in the last shot they don’t look like kids anymore. They are in regular teen clothes, but more confident. They combined and embraced the new side of them. So they got the power, they grew up.

Just my own analysis to the MV, Story Plot: "REFLECTIONS" (Mirror & Water) Gaeul is the protagonist here.. She notice theres something weird happening in the pool/water as her co-members also acting strange like been not normal (being under the spell) bcoz they want to lure her on the pool. Gaeul being curious and scared, she run away from them and ended up entering the forest where Evil IVE doing their rituals. (And now, she surely knew that they were casting spells to her friends). She took/stole the wand from them which made them mad. (Remember the girls got out of the pool and looking for her? the spell has been cancelled when Gaeul stole it while they are in a casting state.) and upon seeing in a magic mirror they know its her who stole it. When Gaeul return back, she gives and show the wand to her co-members. Since the wand gives powers to whoever holds it, they all accended and transform into the Protector of Light/Good. The Evil IVE chased her to return it back to them but they didn't allow it bcoz surely it will become wicked and spells may be used again So they fight until they defeated the evil ones. After it pass 12AM, even they defeated the evil ones they did not make it on time. The wand that was kept inside the fridge on a dimension automatically travels to some random place (which is the shore). Now, since the wand gives power to its beholder, IVE becomes just a normal persons again (you will notice in the end after they see the child in the mirror, Wonyoung accesory in her Ear vanishes) but still looking for it to chase and reclaim it again to whoever holds it.❤️

How i interpret the mv is ive protecting themselves from the haters (evil ive) or how the haters see them. The end where the baby has the wand represents dives basically the mv is saying Ive is passing their wand to Dives to protect

i actually like this MV analysis for Accendio by @/aidollze. i just wanna share it: The music video motif is mirror and reflections which can be seen in DOPPELGANGER and WATER themes. "ACCENDIO" is a singular of "Accendium" which mean "a setting on fire", following the motif, just as there is a dark and good version of IVE the mirror opposite of FIRE is WATER. WATER is the MAIN DOMAIN of these entities, dark!Yujin creates a portal to a place to fight magic!IVE where it's surrounded by an endless ocean. The MV begins with Leeseo ascending from the WATER, as if she was being 'REBORN' into a different person and Wonyoung urges Gaeul to join them. They all look at Gaeul with indifference like she's a prey, but Gaeul notices that something is wrong with the water and these are not her friends. As soon as they notice that she knows their identities, they hide in their domain. Rei counts the seconds to undo the possession since they've been caught and needs to flee. They can't complete their motive if someone knows their real identities. The girls seem to return to normal after leaving the water. Not having any recollection of being possessed, the girls look for Gaeul as she just disappeared from their perspective. The DOPPELGANGERS' motive is to replace the real IVE girls. There may be two versions but in front of a MIRROR, only one is a REAL person and the other is just a REFLECTION. Gaeul sets out to find a solution to protect themselves and sees dark!IVE summoning an item that will grant their desires. This magic wand turns them into magic girls, now their hearts are shielded and protected, but it's only effective as long as they have the wand in their possession. So the fight begins... Just as magic!IVE has a time limit to get the magic force, it's the same for dark!IVE who has a limit of until when they can keep their human forms. magic!IVE couldn't gain the magic force but dark!IVE also couldn't get the magic wand. And so they return to their original forms (rats). Since the limit time passed, the wand has no bearer hence teleports to the ocean (it's domain). This wand only grants the desire of the bearer. Since children are pure and innocent, they possess no threat to their safety and no longer need to protect themselves. The magic fades and the IVE girls return to normal. ---------------------------------------- There's also someone pointed out that the MV might be the reinterpretation of korean folktale 'The Mouse that Ate Fingernails' where the mice ate the man's fingernails and stole his shadow and life. Thank you for reacting to IVE's Accendio!!! As one of my favorite reactors because of how you interpret the lyrics in real time, I'm happy to see you react with one of my fave groups 💖 In this MV, it seems like the "good" IVE is being hypnotized/possessed/under spell by the "evil" IVE when the good IVE was in the pool. Gaeul noticed there is something wrong with them (0:32-0:38 notice how all 5 of them were in slow motion in the beginning and 0:38 Wonyoung calling her to go to the pool). That is why Gaeul went out, found the evil IVE and removed the Accendio wand and stole it, thus undoing the spell/possession of good IVE. For them, it was only seconds (0:47 see how Rei counted for 8 seconds before they got back up) but for Gaeul, 4 hours has passed (5:00) from the time she left to when the wand was removed. The wand in the fridge disappeared because even though good IVE was able to defeat evil IVE and turn them into rats, they were not able to physically hold the Accendio wand by midnight, and it magically disappeared into the ocean. The wand seems to have an affinity with water (pool, ocean) and reflections (the existence of another "self"/doppelgangers, use of mirrors, the triangular mirror stand of the wand, the dance battle happening in an alternate/mirror dimension). Some theorize that the wand chose to be picked up by the kid because it has a pure heart

@@alexcolpos6548 The mirror was just like a way for them to see where the wand is. I dont think they become bad. I think, they pulled out the magic mirror one last time before their magic disappeared to see where it ended up. They just returned to normal since they dont possess the wand anymore
