Yay I'm so glad you did this foundation! I love your in-depth wear tests. I love this foundation on my skin, I can't put it down. But it's crazy how it's getting so many mixed reviews. Almost all my foundations crease pretty much immediately on my forehead, but the crease goes away when I start to get shiny. So I just always figured it's my oils mixing in that's helping the foundation to spread better.

yea really liked it at first, I mean there are aspects of it that I really enjoy, which is why I'm keeping it. I'll continue using it, so who knows? maybe it'll grow on me more haha

yeaa It's hella risky for sure. I just went to Sephora a couple weeks ago RIGHT when they opened and after christmas so thankfully I was actually the only person in the store, but it was my first time going their since the pandemic and even then I just got what I needed and left right away. I did not wanna be perusing those aisles longer than I needed to

Instead of putting powder on your face I suggest using a setting spray. It will be a game changer for your mask wearing days. As well as the longevity of making your foundation last. If you're going to put powder on do another layer of spray. But put setting spray on after your foundation and concealer. And then again when you add your blush or bronzer. Put on your powders and then again. I don't wear powder. But my makeup lasts all day. It's setting spray. I have combo skin. Acne-prone. I used two different types of primer of course, T-Zone I love the tatcha silk canvas cream version. And then the silk canvas liquid version the rest of my face. I love the elf putty primer the pink one. Around the perimeter of my face and under my eyes. It's up there with the tatcha. It's hydrating. And makes my skin look nice. For like 1/4 of the cost. Although Tatcha primers to me protect my skin. Which is why I like them. But, even for oily girls. Layering with spray. Your creams and your powders and spring in between. It will really make you makeup last.

Wear tests is where it's at because I've been thinking " okay yes you've done a makeup look but how is this concealer/foundation going to oxidize or feel on my skin throughout the day". You're doing the work we need hahah so long story short, I need to pick this up!

Hi Ivory. I was very excited to try this foundation, but once I applied it, my skin said nope. I have very dry skin and it clings to dry patches so bad. I moisturize well and it still seems to bring out the dry patches. It seems like it works better with oily skin but it would probably be best for normal skin. And I hate how it transfers! I never set my foundation since I have dry skin and this foundation just disappeared. Maybe she will make another foundation with a different formula that will work better.

omg yes to the transferring! I can never wear this with a mask. even if I wear one for only 5 minutes the foundation is DESTROYED so I learned my lesson the hard way

Omgg this is a HARD question for me. I'd have to go with (no real order here) 1. Urban decay stay naked. It might cling to dry patches though so just moisturize very well before applying. 2. Covergirl Matte made foundation 3. Fenty pro Filt'r foundation, I actually like both! 4. Maybelline superstay (liquid version) 5. Loreal infallible freshwear foundation I could keep going because I just love foundations so much haha. I hope this helps!

I was recommended to use water gel moisturizer with the super goop glow sunscreen and this foundation.. it works ok, I think.. I agree with you on the packaging too.. 😊

I absolutely love the SpongeBob reference 😄 I've seen such mixed reviews of this foundation. Some people love it and it lasts all day, but then a lot of others say it breaks up throughout the day like it did for you on day 1. Hopefully you can find a way to make it work better ☺️

I just bought this and I already know I’m gonna return it. Oftentimes I can click on a video and see if I like a foundation or not and this instantly looked unnatural to me. Idk. It’s great for normal or dry but not oily. Sucks bc it’s anotherrrr trip back to Sephora. Not even gonna bother getting my right color match. No swatches is getting ridiculous we should at least be able to get a sample. I mean we don’t even touch the product then they would hand it to us and we’d leave. Go test it in our car or something!
