We recorded Totch Brown in the 10,000 islands and western Everglades in 1993,1994,& 1995. Three documentaries were made, but hours of extra video was never used. Now the entire unedited version is available. There are introductions from the producers to stories about alligators, moon shine, clams, school, fire hunting, cleaning coons, build shelters, cleaning clothes, mullet fishing and so much more. More than 6 hours on 6 DVDs.

Sept. 20, 2020 Hi, I'm Ms Deborah as Totch called me. I worked with him for 3 1/2 years, but it didn't seem like work. I knew at the time that my experience on the Everglades with Totch, his family and friends was something special that I'd forever hold dear to my heart, and I do. I came on the scene to help Totch with his second book that as far as I know never got published. I worked with him on Yesterday's Everglades, and later we worked with John G. Avildsen, Willie Nelson and others on a project to help save the Everglades. I could go on and on. Thanks goes to David and his team to make all the above possible, and we're thankful for Totch who agreed to do it!

There wasn't nobody quite like Totch Brown. One of the last truly FREE MEN left in America.

I have all three of your DVDs and watched two of them again today. My new neighbors are from Oklahoma and I was telling them about these recordings. Can't wait to get their reactions. Terry and Debbie Gilliam, welcome! Thanks, IVP!

I was living in a big canvas army tent with about 20 other people at Long Pine Key when this footage was filmed! I was there to help with Hurricane Andrew recovery efforts in Everglades National Park. I wish I’d known about Totch Brown back then. I would have looked him up.

Were the shell islands created by native Americans or just wind and wave action
