I loved Ivy in high school and college. I would listen to Edge of the Ocean and Ocean City Girl on repeat. I always loved the chill and sometime psychedelic vibes they brought. It’s a shame they don’t get the fame they should.

I had heard this song on the radio many times and never bothered to save it on a playlist... Months later I moved out of the country but that tune stuck with me. Was trying to remember the lyrics but had totally forgotten them and gave up completely on find it! Today I spend hours browsing through my Firefox history looking for other things and my eyes caught the title! Found it!!!

He's on life support and they say it's pretty grim... we're are praying and holding out hope he's fought for his life alot in this world. I love Ivy, but I've fallen out of touch for a number of years. Anyone know what they're up to these days? They haven't released an album in almost 5 years and their KZbin channel and website haven't been updated. Their beautiful music saw me through some pretty dark days at university. Hope we hear from them again soon!

The last thing we knew about Ivy was that they were going to release an album of remixes... in 2012. Now, Camera2 has stopped all Ivy activity. Camera2 is a really good band too.

was trying to sort this out too - looks like Fountains of Wayne have broken up, and Ivy may have broken up too. Not sure if Dominique and Andy broke up? Camera2 seems pretty good, but Dominque's voice is one of a kind. Would love to hear what she is up to.

I wrote to them through the contact form in their web site, and some days later Dominique herself replied to me! But she didn't give me good news, though. This is her reply: "Hi Andres! We actually did split a while ago, which explains why there’s been no new record or touring. But we are still good friends so if we feel like it one day, we could possibly make a new record... Thank you for your interest! I wish you the best Andres. Dominique".

I have to say that I've been a fan of Ivy for nearly a full 25 years, going all the way back to when they released their EP. They also got me through a very challenging time when I was a Design major in a very select, limited program, and there was great uncertainty of my father would even be alive to see me graduate, as he was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma during the summer of my Junior year. Thankfully, he did overcome that, but ultimately passed 10 years ago from another major health issue. I'd lost track of what had happened to the band sometime in past few years, but hoped Dominique would re-emerge. Hopefully something comes along with regards to new releases; there are still those of us that still listen to them.
