Amazing mod! Surprisingly one of my new favorite mods.. as I just started a new game, and this is PERFECT location and functionality. ONLY thing .. I can not for the life of me, figure out how to do the quest to obtain ownership. I looked at the pictures on Nexus.. and I am guessing I need to read the 'Journal on Aelara' (looks like maybe on dead person). And looked at location on map picture.. but simply can not find anything. Am missing something or doing something wrong? (or perhaps another Mod is messing it up? idk). But maybe a quick tutorial would be nice? (I thought would have been included in this video) 😅

@@scottwatkins9367 There was no quest when the mod was first launched :D

@@scottwatkins9367 The quest is a recent addition to the mod, along with many other changes that are not shown in this video. I introduced it after many people complained about the house being free. Since it's my first quest mod, I wanted to try something different, so I turned it into a full scavenger hunt with voice acting. Edit: Maybe I can upload a simple video showcasing where to look.

Just downing the 1700 mods from some modlist. Do you really think I need more mods, more player homes? Yes, yes of course I do!

Very nice! For me, this would be more than a starter home. It has the storage and workshops I need and nothing complicated so I'm going to grab this now as a keeper. Thanks @FebrithDarkstar 👍👍

That ivy mod I've been using for some time. I think it's the best one. And a nice starter home to come with it xD

I started using Riverwood Manor and Mine after I got off the XBox and onto a PC, then I found another mod that I keep using, that occupies that same space. The Treasure of Riverwood Manor is the mod I've been using, just because there's some nice benefits to be had from using it. The amulet and ring of Van Fridh are must haves! It is kind of a cheaty mod with everything you can get from it, but I don't use those much at all. Plus, there's plenty of secret tunnels, rooms, multiple mini-quests and a main quest. The mod keeps getting updated and new things are added every version. I don't start the main quest until I'm lvl 20 because the main quest boss fight can be tricky if you're not ready for it.

You should try a big mod pack like Lorerim for example. You’ll love the 4000 mods that’s been put into Skyrim. Incredible details in it you’ll highly enjoy.

A good starting point for a new game. I don't have any land or buildings on this side of the river yet, so I´ll give it a try. Off topic: If you're still having problems with followers getting under your feet, may I recommend the mod “I'm walking here”? I've been using it for a few weeks now and it works wonders. Description is a bit vague, but in the end, you can simply walk through Followers. No more jamming in narrow passages. Config in SKSE plugins. Have a nice sunday.
