This is the first song I'm releasing with *Ivycomb Music as my full time job!* My upload frequency will probably remain the same (I aim for 2 - 4 weeks per song generally), but now I can put a lot more time into each and every video. Oh my goodness. This song sounds STRAIGHT out of a musical, with those lines that slap harder than a metal chair and the dialogue back and forth between the characters. It’s not another stranger speaking to the protagonist, but his inner voice trying to convince him to change. If you listen closely, starting from the first chorus, the protagonist quietly sings behind his inner voice, and slowly gets louder until the count to three. Once the count is completed, the protagonist allows the inner voice to come out. The hidden message in this song is that we all have a dark voice inside all of us that can change us, if only we would listen.

I feel like these two are gonna be the heads of their respective orders by the end of the song, old friends who will have to wipe one another out to save what they believe in. Also I feel like if there were strings, both would have them, but one is pulling them, clearly moving forward and moving the puppeteers they lead forward, while the other is holding his strings held by those above him and pulling himself up. They're both puppets, but one is climbing the strings, and the other is pulling on them.

I rarely see songs with the word marionette and it was rhymed very well. Overall really great song, as I am learning is very standard for you lol. I'm a bit new here, since I found you from that Gummigoo song and realized you had a whole host of other songs in a similar style. Really talented stuff happening here!

@@TheSoulArchitech Unfortunately, ivy isn't able to release the instrumental for this one. There's some legal issues with the publisher involved as far as I'm aware. It's probably something I could check up with ivy about though.

Not gonna lie, it's hard to tell the difference between your voice and Stephanafro's. In the duet section, I could hear it, but you two have a very similar timbre and range. There are differences, but they're more subtle, even for my trained ear. As for the song itself, you gave me chills again. The counting section onward was so good. The duet part was a great touch, I loved how it seemed like two worldviews clashing and using the same reasons as to why they think the way they do. Fantastic job, as always.
