Xiangling usually does way more damage than Childe so she is usually considered an off field dps, while Childe is a sub dps/enabler through his skill damage and burst.

I was surprised. I build her with every different artifact. Surprisingly, her DPS is not drop so much since you maintain her Crit ratio and Energy recharge. Er is important to her since you need to build the burst 100% active like xinqiu. Yelan is bonk dmg twice bigger than xinqiu

@@pontoancora Relative is correct. I find that Yae gets me constantly agitated whenever her burst doesn't crit although that's more of a "my build" problem. Personally I like the playstyle of Itto and Raiden the most since Kazuha.

@@MetroShock I totally forgot about itto, he's also really fun to play, but I think his non-resettable auto attacks are a bit awkward to play with. The way his Def Stat works on his ult is also kinda questionable, I understand how a character like Hu Tao is more vulnerable after her skill because you need a trade off for that amount of damage output, but with itto it wasn't really needed to remove his defence when his ult is in progress because, a. It's already locked behind energy, and b. The whole point of his ult is that you use all of your stacks continously to destroy everything, so your most likely not paying attention to your health. But yeah itto is still good, best EN VA for sure aswell

It’s just too hard for me justifying pulling her. With Dendro and a Kazuha rerun around the corner, there’s no way I’d be able to get them if I pull for Yelan now. Especially considering that I already have a C6 R5 Xinqiu and no other teams that want a Xinqiu at all, it’s a painful skip. It’s one of the worst aspects of playing Genshin in my opinion, always thinking about what to spend primos on next. Makes you feel like needing to skip characters to save for future ones 🙃

i also have a c6 xingqiu! i lost 50/50 on ayato to skip ayaka for yelan, but now looking at it, i honestly like ayato a little more since he fills a more unique niche (even yae for that purpose, and even yoimiya was a new concept that i personally enjoy). i honestly think hoyo is running out of ult ideas these days because this is just glorified xingqiu. yelan's real unique aspect is just her skill tbh, as no one's gonna use a c0 charged shot gameplay. with sumeru, best to rerun edit: but at the end of the day, she still deals damage sufficiently. i was in coop to observe yelan mains and it seems like the damage is reliable, if you have energy, that is. otherwise when her ult and skill are on cooldown, you can't really do much

Tbf, the reason why Yelan is OP with a 3 star weapon is a very special case, everything except her physical attacks scale with HP. The bow she equips can have 0 base atk and she couldn't care less. That said tho, Xingqiu would prob do better in national team since Bennett is pretty much useless for her damage, so Yelan freeze/taser maybe?

i used her w taser keqing/raiden/kokomi and honestly it's amazing. her skill and burst do decent dmg at low investment and its really satisfying to play her. and if you have raiden you can focus less on her er and more on dmg sources (hp/crit dmg) making her powerful. maybe jean with vv fits here too instead of kokomi and i put keqing here bc she's built lmao

In a test of 100 E's, her E generates 3-4 particles. On a tap, that's a 25% chance for 3 particles and 75% on 4 particles. While a hold got 20% chance for 3 particles and 80% chance for 4.

Slingshot is actually an even better option than Recurve Bow. So is Favonius Warbow with an HP% Sands since you got Energy Recharge covered with it - between those two you can pretty much decided based on if you have a better ER% or HP% sands.

@@gfmnightmare4232 mihoyo is doing things in a very weird way, like we have elements and damage types that have a HUGE room to improve and be more usable and fun, but they keep buffing and making units for the same old stuff that we have been doing for almost 2 years now, f2p really dont need yelan, especially since her hydro application at c0 is a bit weak and weaker than XQ at c6, as for whales, it is subjective, some whales just get anything that comes out to c6 R5, the picky ones, will find that she doesn't add too much to the game. next will be a 5 star bennet, a 5 star XL, we already have a 5 star sucrose lol, i mean there are just so many ways you can melt and vape and freeze in this game, its getting a bit redundant .

Nah she doesn't work with Hu Tao because she doesn't apply enough hydro especially if you play the usual Zhongli + Albedo team, just stick with C6 Xingqiu. She's better at freeze and electro teams.

And we've been asking for 2 Xingqius all the while, so why put them on the same team, I'd play Yelan on the opposite team for freeze/taser while Xingqiu stays with Hu Tao.

Her elemental skill is literally the cooles ability by far, I think only Keqing's E can come close to the "fun factor" the skill offers, except Yelan is a good character. And I also really like her Barbed shot mechanic, that's gotta be the most fun part of using her E when you see that her bracelet glows and just let the shot rip. Already have ideas for a nice and probably least meta team if my assumptions on how Yelan's damage amp works is correct.

Klee applies so much pyro and quick, national need a ton of hydro to vape and eletrocharged, she may work with yoimiya and diluc but xingqiu would be better. Yelan is definitely good but Hoyoverse really didn't want to create a Xingqiu 2.0

You can run Yelan, Xingqiu, and Hutao for more constant hydro application IMO, not only does Xingqiu decrease enemy's hydro res, he also makes sure Yelan's burst is almost always up after you use her skill. If you have Elegy, Hutao's damage will be even bigger. Now my Hutao deals twice damage per charged attack, around 80k to a whopping 90k per charged attack, my Hutao only has 50% crit rate with 200% crit damage and my Yelan isn't even built yet. 🔥

Hey bro! Ive seen some videos coming up recently showcasing how yelan absolutely deletes shields of any kind. (I dont know the channel name but their videos have the world record azdaha and signora runs with yelan and mona) And yelan SOMEHOW shreds cryo shields like its nothing, same with electro. Weird af. I havent seen it but the comments also say she absolutely destroys the geo hypostasis structures as well. So that may be because of her charge shots acting like klee bombs some people predicted in the comments? But is that a new hidden mechanic? And also they also say she cant break rocks out in the world like you can with klee bombs either, just shields and geo structures. All in all this is really confusing and something I would love to see in a video if youd like to cover the topic!

I was about ready to pull for her signature weapon. But apparently 4star and 3star weapon seems easier to use for any team comps. Sure the damage drops however its not up to the point where it is so significantly low, besides you get all the other bonus.
