The primary issue is the husband’s emotional immaturity. Dominique is a CHILD, yet the husband has gone out of his way to make his own hurt feelings the priority. Instead of saying, my feelings were hurt by the child, but building a relationship with my stepson is more important, he has taken every opportunity to punish him emotionally and physically, by breaking down his confidence, building a wedge between him and his mother, and beating him for his disobedience when there are greater issues that need to be addressed.
