You've come to the right genre if you're bored of what you've been been watching or looking to unwind.

Good video! I like that you talked about the idea that iyashikei has been seeping into somewhat unrelated story types. It really does go to show that the nature of writing is ever-evolving, and it makes me hopeful for the future that we will get more action-oriented shows with an emphasis on healing. Frieren was definitely an amazing show, and everything I love about it is entirely to do with its atypical Shounen aspects of relaxation and the nature of its character-focused growth and drama.

Thanks! Frieren was legendary for successfully putting iyashikei vibes while staying mainstream. So many hot takes on it being boring on Twitter and KZbin when that hot take is mostly talking about the healing parts. I'm also hopeful for the future of action-oriented shows having some healing in it 🙏

This genre cleanses my soul, I swear. Whenever I feel that life it’s too much I put on one of these animes and cry because of how beautiful and soft everything is 😔❤️❤️❤️ A side note, Girl’s last tour final episodes of the anime made me so mad xD SPOILERS: because they find this recording showing how the world was before and I felt so wronged for them. Like, I remember saying to my sister that if I were them I would be SO MAD because someone decided to ruin the world and their chances of having a normal life… I took that very personally xD And the anime of the yakuza who adopts the alien girl is so underrated but good. My fav side story was the one of the high school girl being forced to be a bartender xD And Yuru Camp is the best, love that anime with my whole heart ❤❤❤

wowow you've seen all 3! I'm glad to hear you already felt the ways of iyashikei before this intro video 😌 If you liked Hinamatsuri (the yakuza guy adopting an alien girl), you'll probably like this season's Henjin no Salad Bowl! It's about a 29 yr old detective who adopts an alien girl.

i swear you find some way to bring up frieren atleast once in your videos XDDD Tho this video is healing and relaxing idk why it made me so happy. Remember probably my first iyashikei anime being senko-san and watching it every evening after school or whatever was something like i've never experienced before maybe i should try something like it again..... Tho if you can, could you recommend some iyashikei manga? because tend to read way more when commuting or just walking something, than watching anime

Frieren's my recent favorite anime I couldn't help it XDD For manga you can Denkigai no Honya-san or Shimeji Simulation for a surreal experience

Nope, Frieren's a stand alone anime. Enjoy your Yuru Camp healing ☺ Sad to hear that you got spoiled on Girls' Last Tour ending. I hope it won't affect much with your experience~

Girls last tour shouldn't be on the list. They DIE at the end. Whole journey was pointless
@TapaniLastellar
@TapaniLastellar 3 ай бұрын
with all the comfy and healing moments throughout the series, their death wasn't the traumatic kind for viewers. A pointless journey works for iyashikei shows because the effort isn't on a noble or successful journey.
@Parakasha0

That's kind of the whole point of the narrative. The theme of Girls' Last Tour gets hammered into you in the episode when their vehicle breaks down. "Getting along with hopelessness." Calling their journey pointless ignores how they came to feel about it. To them, the fact it was pointless was a comfort.
