Thank you very much for your nice comment mate :) Well, I could try to explain it, but if I would know that I also could change that. Honestly I’m already pretty happy on how this channel is going. When I started out two years ago, I didn’t even imagine to reach 1k subs. I was a beginner back then, if you look at my first video, that two ships where the 3rd and 4th model I did build. At the end, it’s just a hobby for me and I’m happy that so many people appreciate my work. Sure, it’s nothing compared to the big players on KZbin. Yesterday was the most successful day for my channel in terms of views and new subs. Around 30 to count them. That’s really nice, for me, the big channels would call this a bad day. A really bad one probably. They would have to wonder what’s wrong with the KZbin algorithm. Anyway, I tell you a secret: since tracking of my channel sun number is easy, it’s mostly 1-2 subs a day, I imaginary welcome everybody by „welcome them on board“. So today I tell you: welcome on board, have a good time! (well I hope so, I don’t know if you subbed, but I guess :)). Ohh and about selling my models: well, maybe one day. As said I started around 2 years ago and still have plenty of shelf space left. And also I don’t feel to have the ability yet to fulfill the needs of commissioned work. For example, I never build a WWII plane. Or Jets in 1/72. I wouldn’t feel comfortable getting paid for something I don’t have a single clue about. In fact, the J-15 we see above is my 5th jet build so far, and I’m feeling that’s just my thing, building jets :) (so yeah, much more to come in 1/48 when looking at my stash). Long story, short: thank you very much again. :)

@GeneralPelleScaleModels Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you appreciated the J-15 build. As for the rarity of Chinese plane models on KZbin, I think it's just a matter of personal preferences and interests. For me, scale modeling is an art form, and I don't incorporate political views into my work. I'm fascinated by the aesthetics and engineering of various aircraft, regardless of their origin or purpose. I chose to build the J-15 because I love its design, and I particularly enjoyed painting the Saturn AL-31F engine, which is a for the J-15. I also have a KZbin channel to showcase my work and share my passion for scale modeling with others. In addition, my wife and her family, who are Chinese, appreciate and support my hobby. My mother-in-law, in particular, enjoys looking at my models, and I wanted to make a piece that would resonate with them. I believe that art can transcend boundaries and bring people together, and I hope my work can contribute to that, even yes, i'm just a small KZbinr. But small steps also mean something, right? Thank you once again for your kind words, and I hope you continue to enjoy my channel!

@@GeneralPelleScaleModels Yeah, indeed! Art can transcend boundaries and bring people together. Your unique idea has already make you a great KZbinr instead of "small". I asked this question simply becaues I built a J-11 before but I could hardly find as many model building videos of J-11 as F-16. Also, I am from China. But I love the design of the American planes. I am currently building a F-16 and F-15c. I just love aircrafts and I don't really care about political. Again, thank you for sharing your idea. I am so touched that you can talk so much about your understanding of model building. Looking forward to your next project! Wish you well~~~

@@aidesbnlee5422 thanks again :) that quite funny, I’m also currently building a f-16, because that was the plane i always build when I was a kid (well, basically I throw a pot of color on it and it survived at least 10 minutes of play time). So I desperate to build one now. Well, I messed up the paint job a bit this time, but still looks better then what I did when I was young. Happy building for you and have a great day.
@aidesbnlee5422 Жыл бұрын
@@GeneralPelleScaleModels Wow, I am building a have glass paint F-16 now. I like the reflection under the sun. But I seem to mess up with this color. I paint it either too sliver or too gray. I tried to attach all the missiles with magnetic circular column. Highly recommend you to try it since the missiles can be replaced after the building. Happy building for you and have a great day!

Thanks for the compliment. Well, I would say I’ve some talent that I try to covert into skills. But a modeler always knows which mistakes he made. And that’s always make me feel like: nahh that’s to many of them. At least with my own builds.

Is the 3D decal specific made for the 1:48 J15? Where to buy?😊
@GeneralPelleScaleModels Жыл бұрын
Nope, sorry, it’s made for the su-33. So it might be inaccurate when it comes to instrument panels. But kintec uses the same cockpit parts for the Su-33/j-15 (essentially it’s the same kit with some extra parts), it fits perfectly. Options to buy it can be found here: www.scalemates.com/kits/quinta-studio-qd48172-su-33-interior-3d-decals--1360840/marketplace

Finding superlatives is becoming a problem. If you can see your way clear to doing a mediocre build so that I can say well done it will be easier for me. Seriously, your work is unbelievable. It's a pleasure to witness. BUT I must get back to saving my Revell "Mayflower" from a fate worse than my airbrush. I must have upset so many people in a previous life, this kit is a swine.
@GeneralPelleScaleModels Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words, they truly motivate me! While I strive for excellence, I'm well aware there's always room for improvement. Like you, I also have modelers I admire and learn from - it's all part of the journey. Regarding the Revell 'Mayflower', I empathize with your struggle. Those older kits can be quite challenging. But remember, overcoming such hurdles is what makes us grow as modelers. Stay strong, keep learning, and enjoy the process. Happy building :)

I wish KZbinrs would stop saying ‘we’ when they mean ‘I’. So many of them do it. It’s not like there’s more than one person building this model.
@GeneralPelleScaleModels10 ай бұрын
Man, I feel you. But my imaginary friend who builds with me is really mad with you :) what you’ve encountered here isn’t really a KZbin specific thing. Humans do this in generally for inclusivity, professionalism and engagement. Go to a sports club and listen to the pre-match speech of the trainer to his team. The trainer will say things like „today we are play this formation“, even if he doesn’t play on the field. A fan of this club might say „god, hope we win today!“, but he isn’t part of the team or can do anything about it. A leader of a nation will stand in front of the tv cameras and say things like: „we will go to war“, but surely he / she won’t go to war. But saying „you poor people of my country will go to war and fight for the plans of the rich people“ doesn’t sound so nice for the viewer. Of course there are examples, really good once’s, with the „I“ form. Bob Ross was a master in it. But copying Bob Ross isn’t an option when only writing subtitles. Well, it’s never an option no matter what. So, I hope you understand my reasoning for using the we form. Even if I just build it by myself.
