One of my favorite things about this tape is the way that Track 06/ Alien Family sounds. I love the more up tempo feel to it. I actually initially heard this instrumental when Joey Bada$$ rapped over it. The more up tempo feel gives it warmer feeling; the rendition I heard on 1999 gave it a much more somber feeling. Just my two cents. Peace and love to all my fellow Dilla fans! :)
