A man that mastered a sound that everybody was trying to duplicate in the early 2000s. He was the "neo soul" sound. He single handedly inspired the whole production clan that worked in the Electric Lady Studios. Words can't express my gratitude for being privileged to have known this dude's work. Dilla is my still my 1. All of the rest come after him. I've gave up on every other producer ever since I heard J-88(Stupid Lies is what officially made him my overall favorite producer). Jay Dee is my music guardian angel, ancestor, and motivation.

@justinuptain37812 жыл бұрын
To the untrained ear, this beat might seem like a repetitive loop. Yet the nuances & in- depth EQ, low filtering & random tone differentials is why J Dilla is one of my favorite hip-hop beat makers. His beats weren't all *maximum overdrive " in drum programming & the way he sampled was supernatural. This beat may be simple, but the slight tone & aura changes in the organ melody & random clicks & the drum pattern are so complex. DJ Premier & Pete Rock did the same thing. I sometimes struggle when deciding who my favorite hip-hop producer is... I have to be honest & say that Madlib is my favorite.. Dilla is my favorite beat maker. Thank God for Jaylib tho.... Maybe my favorite hip-hop producer is Jaylib lol

feel it. feel the beat. feel the vibe inside you. feel the force running through your veins. believe, that you can freestyle. feel j dilla inside of you, his beats, his vibe, his soul. he is the reason why real rap is is still important, why boom bap is important. j dilla, revives any sad soul on earth with his beats, his soul, and of course-gets us through our lives and gets us feeling good about our days and our lives and right now, and of course again, our past. but most importantly the future. RIP jay dee.

this jam reminds me of love! I feel the energy between her body and mine even when in a distance I can only think of her brown eyes that match mine. It feels hard to describe this feeling from inside made me lose my mind or piece of it and my peace in mind, shattered like broken mirrors falling from the sky. It was only right when I held you down you were my queen even in the vanilla moonlight the feelings got me holding tight but I gotta let go and realize your a passed life--R.I.P Kayla
