He's so right on the de teum and the apostle's creed. I'm also a fan of the Benedicite. After spending a year reciting the BCP,I found it a true edifying blessing to confess the faith each day. Using the prayer book in conjunction with the KJV grounded me in scripture. So many Anglicans simply don't know the faith precisely because contemporary liturgists under estimate the laity and the truth that 'lex orandi lex credendi'

This dear, dear man. What a different spirit he has to the spirit of this age. I've just heard of the Anglican Daily Office and have started it. Keith, totally feeling you on, "creating a space to reprioritise". It's like telling yourself the truth every morning and evening. Loved watching this.

My Dear Dr. J.I. Packer; Not "long-winded," but "succinct." Especially valuable is the Confession of Sin (as per the ACNA BCP) as well as the Apostles Creed. 'Need to be reminded that the Person of Jesus the Christ atoned for (paid the natural consequences of) my sins, and for me to treat other people accordingly. Thank you, Sir. May thy soul rest in peace; Light Perpetual shine upon thee.

Anglo-Latin grates my ears, though now that it is in decline it is somewhat endearing
