What I think his deficiencies are: 1. He’s not fast enough nor a good enough route runner to get separation from average to above average speed Cb’s and safeties. 2. For his height and size. He does not high point the ball or make of the top catches as well as he should against smaller cb’s and safeties. Because of theses issues. I would like to see him get converted into a tight end during this off season. I think you could at least get a backup tight end value out of him.

Nah. JJ needs to run his routes correctly. His fuckups made Wentz look bad but most of this was him either not attacking the ball, not running the route correctly or just being slow.

Over and over you keep seeing this dude drift on slants and posts. The angle on his cut is not the same as the angle he keeps up with by the time the ball gets there. Against Seattle was obvious. This year against the Rams on a post route as well. I agree Wentz could be better at times but he’s having to work with a lot of young receivers and their growing pains of attention to detail at the NFL level. We’re seeing it from Reagor and Fulgham as well. We need a top notch WR coach to really get the most out of these boys whether it’s Hurts or Wentz next season
