I have one. There are amazingly soild instruments. Sounds thick and stays in tune. Dont let the name on a headstock discourage you.

I dunno, they rock pretty hard in my opinion lol, if you haven't seen them live I highly recommend doing that asap, and you might wanna bring some earplugs along if you plan on being up front. But I get what you're saying. I had a little horsey with the same name as you, btw.

I knew J Mascis was singing it but I was still expecting a feminine soft voice like Hope Sandovals. I get pleasure out of knowing Fred is playing and I have so much respect for him as a multi talented artist. He's one of my favorite persons.

Between being a skateboarder, someone who follows the comedy-scene (actually searched Fred Armisen and saw this video) and enjoys alternative music... I cannot escape J Mascis, and personally, I'm 100% cool with that being the case. J Mascis & Dinosaur Jr. are awesome.

Sorry. J is a creep for doing a cover on a national network. It's not true to his talent. He leans on a cover on every album. And it's a security blanket for him. And it is most definitely J Mascus doing Mazzy Star....it is CRAP!!! Yeah. I said it. Horrible!!!! Times a million!! And I like D.Jr. a lot.
