冬は極寒、夏は酷暑の京都で、事始めの時も８月の八朔の時も芸舞妓さん達は同じようなお召し物で涼やかな笑顔を浮かべて挨拶回りをなさっている。（ように私には見える。）舞踊や音曲や立ち居振る舞いの訓練だけでもむろん大変な日々だが、私にはこの「暑い寒いを一切顔に表わさない」振る舞いの訓練こそが最も過酷なのでは、といつも感心するばかりです。 （令和3年12月13日）

貴重な動画をありがとうございます　現在継承されている花街の中でも大規模ながらの風習ですね　これだけの芸舞妓さんのよそ行きのそんなり姿を拝見できるのもこの日ならでは。着物好きにはたまりません。祇園町の舞妓さんはどちらかと言うと町娘風の古典柄の小紋に織か染めの帯、ゑり萬の帯とか、すごく参考になりました。芸妓さんに復帰されたまめ藤さんも映っていらしてあら～と思いながら楽しく拝見いたしました。

地域や時代背景、多忙な社会など様々な理由はあるのでしょうけど、事始めという歳事をすでに日本人の多くが忘れてしまってますよね。自分も言葉自体は何となく聞いた事がある程度でその意味や中身についてはまったく知りませんでした。 こういう古くからある日本の歳事も祇園の方々は今もきちんと継承しているのですね。 時代と共に日本の名工や名人と呼ばれる高度な技術を持った方達も次世代を継承する人間が居ないが為に、その技術そのものが消えていっている中にあって、祇園の芸舞妓さんやそれに携わる方達はやはり稀少な存在。 古き善き日本の伝統と習慣を守る意味でも、祇園の方達にはこれからも頑張って頂きたいです。 今回も素晴らしい動画をありがとうございました。

The first geiko who walked out of her okiya with her maiko younger sister behind..was so cute. How are the hanamachi faring during the pandemic though? Wish they had a website saying who's who in the geiko world now cause I dont know anyone lol

Ookini Anna for posting this. How'd you manage to get into the Inoue studio? It's great seeing the geimaiko, especially giggling Mameharu, in such a relaxed atmosphere. Yachio V looks wonderful and has such a good rapport with the girls. Thanks again for sharing this enjoyable video. 今回は４花街お廻りなされて秒刻みの行動だったのでは？ 編集など今までとは違った感じで，移動撮影では不思議な感じがしました．　 先斗町の姉さん衆は先斗町の小路に映えますね． どういうわけか各花街色がでますね． 秀好ちゃん見せ出ししたと思ったら，事始めで忙しい日々ですね．
