I was at this game... it was absolutely insane. I'm pretty surprised the Durant/LeBron reversed block/charging call wasn't mentioned here as that was a hugely critical turning point in the final minutes of this game. Had that not happened Warriors woulda been down by 3 with less than a minute and Cavs had the ball. That was a very helpful call to the Dubs.

When that happened I said "give the refs a break: the whole basket/ball/hands/head area isn't where the action usually is". At the same time, one of the announcers destroyed my snark with a far better "My question is, if you're not looking at that, where are you looking?" That call was so bad I actually stopped watching the game. I didn't realize until now that the LBJ's famous "WTF, ref?" moment happened in the SAME game as his even more famous "WTF, JR?" moment.

No, the Warriors were the MVP for killing the Cavs in 4 games. JR was for 1 game if you want it like that. But Cavs had 3 more chances and did nothing. If Cavs won game 1, I'd be like the 2001 Lakers who went to the Finals with a record of 11-0 & lost game 1 in OT vs the Sixers, then won the next 4 games to defeat the Sixers 4-1 & win the championship. Anyone can win 1 game. Cavs vs Warriors game 2, 3 and 4, showed that the Cavs couldn't handle the Warriors greatness.
