Great in the original violins of Vivaldi, Just as good or even better (more powerful) in the Bach rewrite for harpsichord, and absolutely stunning in the piano version, in which one has more definition of the pianos than of the harpsichords. I could listen to any and each of the versions hundreds of times, each with its own strengths and corresponding losses. The music is of such a level that surely one can be amazed by any one of the versions.

C'est exacte il s'agit au départ d'un concerto pour quatre violons de Vivaldi qui a été adapté pour quatre claviers par J.S Bach. Cette interprétation est une des plus équilibrée et jolie que j'ai déjà entendue.

Enjoyed this version. I thought the strings were intrusive at times, a distraction. Someone commented on the pianists all playing this from memory, i agee. The interaction and empathy between the soloists was fantastic. Such intimate knowledge of the piece and the artists.. Thank you.

Oh my God, how can you be `pretty sure´ when you're so wrong? This is Bach BWV 1065, a famous and beautiful piece, originally composed for four harpsichords and even better when played on four pianos.

I know that I am going to be like the blackbird, but I think that Bach accepted that as an order, but I find that the four keyboards at re too heavy for this light muisc, which is so well suited to soli violins!

Whichever idiot decided to hit metal with a hammer sounds like .... pulling a string ... of a harpsihord was for a mentall hospitall. And this concert, originally for 4 harpsihords proves it completely. You hear constantly a multitude of hammers knocking through the performance of violins. While if it was one only wouldn't be sensed that much what of a fail it is, but here the instrument reveals itself at its best !
