I was thinking of swapping a j35 and actually rebuilding it fully first because I watched em just throw a junk engine in😂 and that was pretty entertaining, I know it's built now but I fell in love with the 3.5 vtec when I got the Honda Ridgeline, I wanted a normal truck like Ford or Chevy, but It made me learn how smaller engines can make big power

I Ran a 220k mile motor for over a year over 500hp. They are good strong engines.

With the Hasport V2 mounts on low whats the ground clearance? And any other trimming to make it fit?
@biggmanarthur2 жыл бұрын
It's pretty low but p2r makes a lower clearance oil pan and I ran 235/65 front drag radials to gain height too. No trimming needed
@xushenxin2 жыл бұрын
can it still pass inspection?
@foopgaming44102 жыл бұрын
What mounts did u used and how did u get oil pan clearance
@biggmanarthur2 жыл бұрын
Hasport dual height. Oil Pan cleared just need to be carful. Also ran 235/65/15 drag radials helped too

J32a2 or a1 how much boost and whp is safe on 93 pump?
@biggmanarthur2 жыл бұрын
32a2. I've never really ran alot of 93. Taking risk with stock motor and pump 93. I think most I've ran was like 6psi 400hpish. Can u run more sure. But I'd rather run e85 and know I have good fuel
@bryanfigueroa32 жыл бұрын
@@biggmanarthur I live in Puerto Rico so we don't have pump E85 over here, only 5 gallon race barrels E85, which is expensive, thats why we use 93 pump... would you recomend methanol injection or just flex fuel sensor and when I want big power just swap the 93 on the tank for e85? How much boost do you recommend to give it on e85?
@biggmanarthur2 жыл бұрын
@Bryan Figueroa Maldonado ah gotcha makes sense. Flex fuel works well, easy to just put in ethanol and go. I've ran 20psi on e85 on a stock 32a2 with 200k miles for a year on before it broke. Was over 600hp. The Key is to keep peak torque past 5k helps the rods stay in the motor longer. Motor had head studs and valve springs. Everything else was stock

Did you use a custome manifold for the turbo? And id so how much did it cost to have it fabbed? If you dont mind me asking of course. Trying to turbo my acura TLs j32a1. I have all the components, just need to put it together
@biggmanarthur2 жыл бұрын
Yes complete custom turbo kit. From headers, hot side and cold side. I did it couple years ago now so prices for materials have gone up double. It's not cheap but you do it once and it fits perfect for your application

@biggmanarthur2 жыл бұрын
@@PoppityPopBwahh yes complete j35a3. The a3 heads are almost identical to 32a2 heads just 1mm smaller intake valves. Otherwise the same. You can do the 32a2 heads with the 3.5 bottom end. It picks up alot of tq that way. Running pump e85

Bro, How much did it cost you to swap the car with everything and turbo?
@biggmanarthur2 жыл бұрын
I don't know exactly, but it was a budget build. This turbo was 285$ shipped. I did most of the work myself so saved on labor too.
