Says on hondata's site that the board has to be permanently locked to a TL ecu and only ecus sold by Hondata can be used? Any particular reason?

@@esnebta no like the antitheft workaround cause thats a whole bear to reprogram and get the ecu to learn the transponder in the ley so the car will actually crank

@@hellbringer09The ECUs are physically modified, at least the soldering for cruise control. He pulled the 03-07 Accord / 04-06 TL flash pro from their website, so I guess this is the replacement. So he's wanting to do this because it's more profitable for him. $1800 locked to the ECU for life with 1 year of support? Most of this kit is dependent upon sourcing parts from a 07-08 TL or 'buying new parts from Acura.' (just like ALL of us drive to the dealership and pay them to reprogram the immobilizers on 16+ year old ECUs). This guy is out of touch. Too hung up on being "official". This isn't like the mid 2000s when K-series were brand new and D/B/F/H series were still fresh. SIXTEEN YEARS since the last one of these supported engines rolled off the assembly line. This is equivalent to coming up with a 'solution' to the 3valve/cylinder A-series engines in 2005, and then selling the 'solution' for over 3x the cost of a junkyard engine. Get real.

So your saying my 07 Pilot is tuneable.. on a Honda ecm. What about obd2 ecus should I just throw it in the trash and go obd1 or can bus reflash Honda

Run it on fuel tech I was having immobilizer issue with stock ecu

@@GhettofiedInc fuel tech is far superior over the stock unit for sure just cost a little more. keeping the stock allows for obd2 scan but again if I had money fuel tech or haltech are high options or basically the only 2 lol

I will either be making them myself and selling them for dirt cheap, or I will have a batch made, or I will be unloading a ton of info about everything pertaining to that. I want more people to have those adapter harnesses because that translates to more transmission business for me.
