Similar thoughts. Ja is thankful for his father's guidance and assistance in getting to this point. Tee clearly helped Ja get to where he is and Tee is not afraid of the spotlight but Tee let Ja shine in that interview. This wasn't the Tee Morant show featuring Ja Morant. Any comments regarding a dad who LOVES his son dearly but rides him sooo hard even now because he didn't play the sport Dad wanted? More criticism than high fives after every game...drove a VERY probable NFL prospect the other way--kid ended up wanting nothing to do with the sport...😔 (sad cause this kid was a beast; hardly any positivity from Dad deflated any enjoyment in the sport)....now kid lacks self esteem......smh...

He made NBA rookie of the year, most improved and all ⭐ his junior year and now he is in his senior year. He has notoriety because of his fierce, witty and talented play. I love stories like this and also he played AAU with ZION who received offers from all over the country. And went #1 in this very draft before Ja an unknown....who received no interest no offers. What a story. Joe Burrow has a similar story. Scouts saw his talent in the NCAA tournament, where they lost I think in the 2/3rd round in 2019.
