Drose was faster, stronger, bigger than ja. Ja can jump 2 to 3 inches higher and is never scared to jump over people. I think todays nba allows for high jumpers to showcase their abilities as the court is more open so more space to take off, but during prime drose era the nba required more quickness, speed and stronger guards like rose to get past the defence.
