The "peek and lean" aiming feature on this game made it the single most gratifying first person shooter I ever played. Everything about this game was awesome, and I'd love to see MOH Airborne get remastered.

Yes I agree! Please remaster it! Oh man I just love the detailed little things they put in this game, such as: 1. The way your vision blurred for a second when viewing through scope (for your eyes to adjust) 2. The hands-weapons actions when crouch, standing from crouch, dropping from height, sprinting 3. The shaking-zoom in screen when sprinting (adds to the tension) 4. The clicking-like sound when you aim (its kinda weird but I love it hehe) 5. The violent recoil of most of the automatic weapons and the flashing really leaves you with only short, controlled bursts when firing. This again adds to the tension The sounds in this are great! I remember first time playing this game in 2015 (yup, 2015) and thinking 'wow this game really has good sounds'. Remember, before this I've played many other WW2 shooters, such as COD series. Later when I unlocked the extra video contents, I learned that the developer really recorded actual equipment and vehicles sounds, which impressed me even further. On the downside, I REALLY wish I could make the compass, ammo count, and crosshair disappear. Also, a smudged, dirty or cracked lens scope-view will add to the detail. These really could add some element of realism. Oh and also, the sound when you picked up a medkit is quite weird haha To those who are playing, I'd recommend that you played it my style: Hardest Difficulty and aim not to die in a level, as a form of realism. This way of playing really puts you in a very great way to enjoy the game. As if you're in a real war zone, you land in the safe zones, then press on slowly toward your objectives, mostly crouching and moving from cover to cover. Then peek from covers to get a look and a shot at your enemies. In Hardest Difficulty, you'll damage much faster when being shot. Therefore you'll try your best not to get shot. Really, you'll think many times before deciding to run across open areas. Hence the importance of cover in this game. The controls in this game are a bit different from other FPSs, at first I was annoyed, but really, when you've mastered it, you'll appreciate why they're designed that way. My personal record is that I've beat every mission in this style of playing, except the last part of the last level, in the basement of the Flak Tower. I can never get pass the Super Stormtroopers carrying the MGs, they're tough as hell to defeat when in groups. On a side note, I learned from a video that in the Nazi Germany military manual, some soldiers (selected guys I assume) are to wield the MG and fire from the hips when required to. And the Super Stormtroopers in this game did just that. I didn't see they ever took aim, they just fire at you when they see you. I couldn't understand why they wore gas masks though, but they really look menacing with those masks. Hell, when you encounter those guys in Hardest, your heart really beats like crazy. They're scary bunch. That's what beautiful about this game. All in all, I really glad I found this game.

It's very cool to read a comment from someone who loves MOH Airborne as much as I do. I'm currently playing COD WW2, and while I like the game, I hate that you're either in the line of fire or unable to fire from a concealed position because there isn't a similar peek and lean aiming and shooting feature, which to me should be standard on any first person shooter like this. I also really enjoyed that while the next mission was loading, they'd always show you the profile of the next German soldiers you were going to face, and their skill and weapons always got more and more formidable. I'd love it if they remastered MOH Frontline from the PS2, that game absolutely blew me away as well when it was first released, it was a massive leap forward from the original Medal of Honor on PS1, and that's saying something because the original was great too.

I swear this game still has better graphics and atmosphere and intensity and gun sounds than Cod WW2. By the way the opening theme song (when they jump from the plane) is called Arnhem Knights and it was first featured in MOH Frontlines game. I swear the mission this theme song was featured in was bloody hard to complete on hard settings.

This game really shines with the ps3 6 axis controller move and walk like normal and the ability to lean and hit the ground by tilting the controller

You have to kill everyone on the map first Then complete one objective and proceed to kill yourself Yes I am not kidding The score system for this game is flawed as hell You lose small points for dying but for every time you cleared the whole map and complete another objective then go killing yourself again makes all the enemies respawn for you to kill which gives you tons of scores to the point you get even more than what you needed to reach 5 stars I did this shit at Operation Avalanche I cleared the whole maps of enemies then blow up the ammo stockpile then kill myself All respawned except the stockpile area I died on purpose like 3 times already for each objectives and when I finished the game I got 5 stars It's one of the flawed things in this game Even worse the stars get reduced again after I replayed the level
