Tower defence plus fighter? Might have to try it myself: You are a shaolin monk who is defending the temple against zombies and creating golems at certain sacred sites nearby. Killing zombies gets you "anima" which is used to make golems, and your character generates ki, which you can uses to temporarily buff your stats.

you know what's a fun experience? joining a game jam with zero coding knowledge! ( yeah, I broke down the night before the last day haha....) I'm kind of doing the same thing now...the jam's in 2 days, so I got 2 days to learn the basics of ue4 blueprints

Why are you using health bars if the fighting characters only have a single hit point? I think a different type of _'hit-indication'_ might be more suitable - though I can understand that you like those bars as it gives the game a more classic fighting-game look.

Why did you do it in 48hrs? The Jam was for 72hrs and since you used outside assets that you didn’t make you didn’t qualify for the Compo (which is 48hrs). I think you shortchanged yourself a whole day.
