This movie is very close to my heart. This was shot in my home town Ranchi, also hometown of MSD. The ground shown in the 1st hour where he practices is also my home ground where I represented under15 district level, its where I spent all my teenage years. And this ground is where I had the privilege of meeting MSD for the first time in 2003. RIP SSR.

The thing about Sushant's acting in this movie is that it's so phenomenal , he nailed it down from his dialogue delivery(being extremely humble and calm in difficult situations) to his walk. He portrayed Dhoni who is one of the most treasured and loved person in India with such ease and grace, this movie is truly a testament of good writing , great story and extraordinary acting

The room where players come out to play, is called a dressing room, which you saw in the beginning. Cricket has 3 formats- 1) Test cricket ( it lasts for 5 days) 2) One day international ( odi) (it lasts for almost 6 hours) 3) T20 cricket ( it lasts for 3 hours) Cricket has two world cup formats, one is the ODI world cup & other is the T20 world cup, both of which you will see in this movie. The Indian premier league or the IPL is played in the same basis as the English premier league (EPL). The IPL is a t20 league, which you will see in this movie briefly.

When they are wearing white dresses the match in of 4/5 days (it is the oldest format of cricket) 2.when the jersey is colorful it is either one day (50 overs each team) or T 20 twenty overs per team. 3.when a person is batting he has to score runs which can be done by running between the wickets If u hit outside given boundary grounded it will give u 4 runs and if u hit outside boundary directly it will give batter 6 runs 4.A person can keep batting till he gets out that can be in 3 main ways his wickets get knocked out His shot is caught by a fielder of opposite team before ball touching the ground Run out if the wickets are knocked out by opposite team when batter is taking runs

2:07 That's the Dressing Room or called Players Lounge where you keep your kit and meals available for players and other one you talking about the dug out which is more closer to the action just outside the Boundary line. In short formats like T20 you will mostly stay in dug out and goes into Dressing Room to bring your personal items or want to use a rest room etc. In a ODI format which runs for 7 hours + and test matches (5 Day) you stay in rest room and very rarely use the dug out. This will allow players to stay under the Aircon (which is very much needed in Asian region) and to have quick massage from your teams therapist and other needs such as food and good rest before going to the action.
