We do not need a treaty to negotiate and the Victorian Premier is getting this wrong and acting divisively. White and Indigenous Australians are together on negotiating with each other without a treaty in place, which is harmful to our cohesion and alliance with ALL AUSTRALIANS. I'm always listening to Jacinta because she is honest, forthright. steadfast and a true patriotic Australian. She is spot on with the weaponisation comment. Good and proper communication and open minded listening and negotiating for a solution is key. Jacinta speaks so much common sense every single time. Australia is listening to Jacinta and her pearls of wisdom. I listen first to Pauline Hanson and Malcom Roberts, Jacinta Namijinipa Price, Warren Mundine and James Patterson, before any other politicians from both parties. These are the politicians with real integrity, honesty and true patriotism for the well-being of Australia and Australians.

@barrywilkins1042Ай бұрын
Nope. Unfortunately. Only when a State LAW clashes with a Federal LAW, the Federal LAW will hold sway. See Section 109 of the Australian Constitution: "Inconsistency of laws." However, you need to factor in the "sewer rat cunning" of Andrews/Allan-type politicians. Neither the Feds under Albanese or Dutton will introduce this land grab as LAW. That's why they use weasel words such as "treaty" and/or "truth-telling" (aka LIES) to sneak it in the back door. In doing so, they steer clear of any challenges because there is no LAW upon which to base any challenge. Told you they were cunning.😊 Q: Ever wondered how a nation can have a treaty with ITSELF??? A: By inventing the fallacy that they were a nation before the arrival of Captain Cook.😅 It is difficult to believe that people who lived as TRIBES and led a NOMADIC hunter-gatherer existence, WARRED against each other for mostly ALL of their existence, and who did NOT enrich the Land entrusted to them, could be thought of as a Nation, no matter how many times activists and the legacy media call them "First Nations people."

Stop trying to please & placate the aggressive activists pushing for these divisive ideas. Why are we calling these people 'First Nations' when there was no nation before colonization. Groups of humans wandering around a country is not a nation. Mainstream media like the ABC are responsible for giving these racist activists their annoying voice. NO was the answer the country gave in our very expensive referendum. Why is this foolish premier of Victoria allowed to continue with her racist agendas? I don't know what evidence she's talking about but I could give some real evidence, as could a lot of other Australians who live or have lived in remote outback towns. I, for one, am really sick of listening to virtue signalers who will not listen to anybody who has different opinions on this issue. Please stop wasting government time & money on this. In 2015 the WA state government signed a settlement (treaty) with the Noongar people for over $1BILLION (reparations). But after Treaty and reparations the grievances still remain and it doesn't change the past.. The socio-economic gaps haven't been improved. I spoke to an indigenous person and asked the question "Does reparations repair anything?" His response was "No because Indigenous people will never enjoy the lifestyle that white people have." What is the point of these measures if the only effect they have is a transfer of wealth. Doesn't fix the social issues and we white people still get accused of stealing land through genocide. The indigenous bloke admitted its a grift and that nothing we do will be good enough. The grass is greener on the other side of the fence but instead of watering and feeding our own grass, lets poison the others grass. Nothing but jealously and envy...

@Makeaustraliagreatagain-h8u and will be for generations. This is on top of other welfare benefits as well. But we'll always be the oppressors even though since colonisation, the indigenous population has increased, has a higher GDP, higher standard of living, greater life expectancy, higher levels of education, and greater opportunities in the modern international world... but those consequences are overlooked and more more more is needed...

@@ThaMassDebater I was chatting with one of my cousins husband. He conveyed that he was working for a indigenous company. This is so wrong.
@ThaMassDebaterАй бұрын
@Makeaustraliagreatagain-h8u my best mate works high up for the government. There's certainly a "preference" to give contract work to indigenous run companies or companies that employ mostly indigenous people. He was telling me how an indigenous company got a construction contract for a project they didn't apply for because the value of the works was above the capacity that this company had. Anyway they were given this high value contract and sure enough they didn't have the capacity to do the work. It ended up that a head contractor (that they first rejected because their racial quotas didn't meet the social agenda requirements) had to take over the scope of works. They still had to use the indigenous companies employees and the indigenous company were still paid out... A clear case of social agendas above meritocracy and productivity..
