It is amazing the impact of Blues music, especially in Europe. I remember playing blues in the Netherlands, we always had large audiences. I remember being surprised when we would ask for requests, at how many were for songs by the original artists, I remember thinking hell I’ve never heard of this by this artist. Amazing the knowledge they have of our music. I remember once a older gentleman asked us to play a Tab Benoit song and I was like I never heard of this guy. After hearing him I was hooked. Great people over there.
