Yes, Jack Bruce my favorite Musician and Composer !!! I heard this Song the first Time, when he played at the Logo in Koblenz (Germany) !! The Band was David Sancious & Bruce Gary. I have good Memories of Jack!! Thank you my Brother! Greetings from the Baltikum. Natascha i be back soon.

This just might be my all time favorite performance of Jack from the 80s! I’ve loved this song since I first heard it (on an 80s best of, later in its proper place on Jet Set Jewel) but wondered if he’d ever done it live. What a fantastic performance; the whole band is on fire, the orchestra, and of course…that voice. Pure gold. Thank you so much for this audio/visual gift!

At least he did it live in Germany, with David Sancious (keys and guitar) and Bruce Gary )drums). I was there, and it's available on DVD.

Only 4 comments? Only 71 likes? That seems odd. Of the so many wonderful "rock" musicians, Bruce extended the genre where not many musicians went.... or were capable of going. I suppose it's the nature of the species that many of us tend to remain where we are safely comfortable. I think Bruce required a wee bit more of us.

Jack was a "musicians musician". That means he got much more 👍 from other musicians, than from those people following easy listening pop music.
