Josh Taylor got himself to the very elite level of the sport, winning the undisputed title and beating every top opponent along the way. Jack Catterall has never been better than a domestic level fighter. Taylor hasn't shown up for his last two fights though - he either isn't living the life and/or his legs have gone. Hasn’t had the opportunity before that fight for belts etc. but let’s be real….he should be undisputed. First fight was a complete robbery. So most people see him as undisputed… only biased Taylor fans don’t give him his credit. Taylor knows he lost but keeps denying that he lost, hence the reason he has lost a lot of respect.

But rewatch the fight with no commentary and I it was Def closer and can see how judges scored it. Taylor does seem to be going through a period where he keeps picking up injuries. It gets harder to make weight the older you get, really think he should have moved up after he unified. Hes looked so sluggish in last two fights yet seems convinced it’s his preparation that has been poor. If it had been then it’s unprofessional but I think he struggles with the weight his life outside the ring seems to be problematic I think catterall wins this on points clear.
