@ if you saw the Maple Hill Manor Bed & Breakfast video from last week, you’ll see where I refer a couple of times to my 2nd great grandfather, Francis Marion “Frank” Haven’s. He fought in the Civil War with the 12th Kentucky Cavalry (Union). My Havens family came in 1840 to Butler County, KY via Vermont and New York .

This place is a legendary since 1933 it always a classy place, ur probably not from Louisville Kentucky. Cause u didn't know what this place was like. I do I'm 48 never ate there but it's always talk about for years. Jack Fry's is expensive as well.

Great episode. I actually thought Barry was in Paris, what with the plush restaurant, well-dressed staff, white table covers, sharp looking crockery and well-presented food. Then he brought out his own hot sauce, and I realised he wasn’t. 😂 I think you can still be Guillotined in France for that. God knows what the punishment is for those snapping turtles.

It’s a great atmosphere because it’s almost always full and it’s loud and the food is delicious. Owner and staff are excellent. I have been going there with friends and family for decades. If I’m in for lunch I always get the burger with bacon and egg, and then I’m useless the rest of the day.

I used to frequent JFs years ago until about 2018. Unfortunately I'm priced out of this place ($65 for three lollipop lamb chops for example, more than they charge in Chicago). That area of the Highlands has also deteriorated to the point I'm not comfortable walking down there at night dressed up anymore. That aside, they deserve much credit for being able to stay consistently busy all these years. If they ever go out of business, the restaurant scene here will be in dire shape. Food was and still appears to be top notch. They only hire the best staff too. On your critics about the singing, hot sauce, pig noises etc, it might be out of place for this type of establishment but it's also part of your style of entertainment. If it's not working, you'll know when views drop and people unsub. Otherwise, it's your channel. Side note, I do think Sam would have been a better partner for this one. 😊
