This was one of those times that the UFC set up a card to be a springboard for a fighter, and it didn’t work out. Joe Pyfer was doing every interview and every podcast for weeks now, telling us all again and again, “I came from nothing.” Probably less media next time, and more treadmill. Fantastic performance by Jack. So impressively broke Pyfer down, until Jack was on top beating him down at the end.

@@ItsameAlex Remember what I said Pyfer does punch hard but UFC and Dana was dumb af for setting him up against Ngannou's punching power. They should have chosen Sergei Pavlovich or Tom Aspinall for it. Dana should just have let Joe Pyfer be Joe Pyfer rather than telling others to be Joe Pyfer!🤣 Ngannou's power is believed not because of Powerkube but because he clips with very small shots and sleeps people. Dana just made Pyfer a laughing stock for his petty beef with Francis. Just let Pyfer be Pyfer A hard-hitting passionate middleweight rather than a replacement for a freak athlete who crossed deserts and oceans to live his dream, whose shoet punches lift heavyweights in air and whose power has impressed even Mike Tyson
