Jack in the Box vs. Homemade Crunchy Tacos | Blind Taste Test Challenge

When I was in high school in Chicago there was a Jack down the street where we would have taco eating contests . They moved out of the Midwest awhile ago so the first time I saw one after moving to Oregon 40 years later I immediately stopped and had 6 tacos. They still taste the same! My Canadian sister always requests them when she comes to visit too.

So last week, I chopped some lettuce just like you.... I made tacos. And guess what.... something green was moving.... it was a little worm. Same color as the lettuce!

The concept is great but I really thought you're going to do something to the ground beef to make it like the Jack in the box taco meat.

I’m sure yours are delicious but there’s no way you can duplicate the mystery neat paste of a Jack taco plus the leather hardness of the tortilla that transforms to ultra softness where the meat is contained . I will definitely make your recipe.

Jack n' Box never been my fave but home made is a million times better to eat. Iceberg has no nutritional value at all where as spinach or sorrel is what this cook uses
