I love the stories, all these songwriters are connected to each other, and what I love about Texas country is they all mention each other in their songs and the locations, places I've been and people I've heard of and listen to and WILL eventually find and listen to, and I think a lot of us had dads like the one in the song

I was expecting the last line to say "even when your 41...you forgot your problems .....(And your Son).... down in Biloxi..." That would've hit hard at the end. Don't know why but I thought of that line as he sang the last chorus didn't imagine it during the song just the last .
