Never been a fan of Jack Links beef jerky. It's just too sweet for me. I am a long-time consumer of Oberto products, especially of their thin-style peppered beef jerky. I like the fact that Oberto is made in the Pac northwest because I happen to live in WA state, about an hour from Kent, which is where it's made. I have never had a problem with their bags so I don't know why yours came apart like that.

As someone from the PNW I always grab Oberto Teriyaki jerky. It's at every gas station so it's easy to find and it tastes better. I don't care if it's not "moist", it's jerky, it's not really supposed to be.

Upstate NY has damn good beef jerky that is well worth a try... the original is prepped far different than most flavors, but sweet and spicy, teriyaki, and the other flavors are great!!

Is there ANYONE except a road engineer that likes a roundabout? What a waste of extra land, building materials, upkeep costs and taxpayers money. The one near me replaced a Thorofare and the back entrance to a hospital parking lot. The land below it had been under 20 ft of water in 1993 and we were told it was to become a hiking/biking/dog park but instead is now an industrial site. To build the roundabout they hauled in tons of dirt and built a 25ft concrete wall to contain it. A higher levee was built along the Missouri side of the river so now the small town on the Illinois side of the river floods every spring. The engineers here told me it was done for 'safety' to prevent accidents. I asked for that accident report, since I have lived here over 30 years and never saw eone accident along that road.

Jacks links must have recently changed their recipe. Last bag of original I got was so sweet it was almost inedible! Look on the back and see 7 grams of sugar per ounce! That's close to double most pop! Used to love the stuff but it's a hard pass now.
