Great breakdown. In the books Reacher is all about elbows and headbutts. I am glad how they expanded on this in the series. They kept the essence of his fighting style but added more techniques to it that fits his size and personality.

I was hoping to get some answers about fighting in two tv shows. They are both werewolf shows so there is a supernatural element to them but your opinion on them would be appreciated. The first I watched in highschool was Wolfblood, in the show the werewolf characters have a move where they grab thier opponent by the shoulders or coller and jump up on them driving them to the ground. I was wondering if this move is practical or even seen in any fighting style. You can see this move about halfway through the first episode. The second is Bitten which is more adult, but in the second episode the werewolves were practicing unarmed combat and I was wondering what style they were practicing. Once again if you are willing to take the time I would be very interested in your opinions and theories.

For your description it looks like they were trying to "humanize" a wolf, or any animal, pouncing on their prey. I'm guessing it might work on someone flexible and strong enough to do that, but I don't think it's a formal technique, perhaps something similar could be seen in Monkey style Kung Fu.

From what I understand Reacher's fighting style is Keysi Fighting Method (KFM).

Only in the Tom Cruise movie. I hate Keysi in both that movie but more specifically in the Nolan Batman movies, because it's SUUUUUCH movie fu. Meant to look cool and interesting. Practically, you'd be MUCH better off using the tried and true stuff, boxing, muay thai, BJJ, taekwondo etc. It's why I hope Godzillarex does a video on Pattinsons Batman. He's a MUCH more practical meat and potatoes martial arts fighter.
