Using a flip phone for 31 days

Have you ever gone to bed at night and thought to yourself... Man, I really miss dramatically closing my phone... Well for 31 days, I went back in time and grabbed myself a flip phone and threw my old smart phone in the bin. Ok I didn't throw it in the bin but I wanted to see whether I could use a flip phone for 31 days and this is what happened...
A Matt D'Avella inspired project (of course). The average person spends around 3-4 hours on their phone a day. I am obviously one of those people seeing as I'm making this video for you all to see. With there being so many documentaries on why your smart phone is bad for you, I wanted to see whether or not using a flip phone for a month would make a dramatic change to the way I live my life.
The worst part about my 31 Day flip phone challenge... not evening being able to download Snake.

My average daily screen time is around 6-8 hours. I’ve thought about it awhile and I’m officially swapping out my iPhone for a flip phone. I am wasting so much time. I’d like to have a life now.

Actually, that was very smart to going with a flip phone in 2021. Right now I'm trying to not use my social media (only checking it on my pc or chrome in my phone) and it feels weird, because I don´t need to show everything that I do, only the complete necessary. But I'm over 5 hours on my pc watching youtube and drawing sometimes ;-;

Great video Jack! My screen time is awful, even more so during lockdown. I've been tempted to try going old school but like you mentioned, with people using Messenger or WhatsApp, you might miss messages! Dad like Son with that fashion - socks and sandles ha!

hahahaa yup... My work is predominantly on Microsoft Teams... there were loads of occasions where my colleagues struggled to get hold of me in urgent situations hahahaha but yeah,,, either way, was nice to have the break haha
