Especially with higher voltages, its smart to use only one arm at a time. This way, if you accidentally touch a live wire and form a connection to the ground, the current won't flow through your heart. Makes it less dangerous

For those comparing the Jakary to a 20,000mAh powerbrick, please keep in mind that those 20,000mAh powerbricks would be 5volts... I believe the Jackary is configured for 14.4 volts.... hence 14.4 x 16.8 = 241.92 Watt Hours... where as 5v x 20 = 100 Watt Hours. Even more importantly, Each cell of the Jackary is rated at 1800mA (which is fairly reasonable/realistic) most 20,000 powerbricks consist of 9 cells, which implicitly (when you account for them boosting the 3.6v to 5v) are claiming an individual cell capacity of nearly 3000maH...which is highly unlikely (unreslistic). Most claims of individual cell capacity above 2000maH are ussually over-exaggerated as only very expensive top-tier cells can have anywhere near that capacity in a 18650 format. So most likely those 20,000mAh 5v powerbricks are really only about 10,000mAh in real-world use. To be fair though, the Jackary is only going to get 240 watt hours if it us connected to DC, a resistive AC load is going to be significantly less (and an inductive AC load is going to even less that that). One last note, depending on how those cells were arranged on the Jackary, when Zack was unscrewing the battery holding plate, if he had dropped the screwdriver, he could have triggered a massive vent-with-flame condition that would have LIKELY cascaded across all 36 cells... That would have very likely caused extremely significant bodily injury to him. SO PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL IF YOU EVER ATTEMPT ANYTHING LIKE THIS AND UNDERSTAND THE DANGERS BEFOREHAND.

FYI, opening it up can't legally void the warranty. If you don't damage anything they can't void the warranty. There is a reason the government sent letters to major electronics manufactures reminding them working on your own device doesn't void your warranty. This goes back to the car manufactures trying to force people to have to take their car to the dealer for maintenance.

I believe this unit is input current is limited to about 46 watts DC. This would make the 60 watt solar panel more than enough on a sunny day. Overcast or northern latitudes may favor the 100 watt panel.
