9:13 Marcus bringing up Simon's dad really raised red flags to me. I started to not trust his intentions or his actions from that moment on. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll leave it at that. I was torn about August and Sara too. They are rather sweet together, if you ignore the things they've done that are awful. They seem to have genuine feelings for each other.

The beautiful heartbreaking song Wille is listening to, when he walks and for sure is thinking of Simon ❤️💔 - is “Lonely Ones” with Lova…. Brings out some tears watching it again 😥

One of the things I love about this season is to watch both Wille and Simon grow and learn and mature. As you mentioned, 6:45 , they learn to be honest about their feelings and learn how to communicate better with each other. I think I might like S2 slightly more than S1, though I love both seasons so much. I know E3 is so heartbreaking, but E4-6 are amazing and heartbreaking and intense. There's still more crying to come, but we do get some hope too.

Episode 3 is very messy. We have Marcus gaslighting Simon into staying in this relationship, we have August becoming the backup, and we have Wilhelm and Felice going down a path no one wants them to go.

The song is “Lonely ones” by LOVA, great song … ❤️the palace in the show is a private palace as they weren’t allowed to use the real “Drottningholm palace” where irl king and queen live. Yes, the meeting was … well interesting, and a surprise… 😳😬and the W&F end… 🫣🤣poor Henry, he is always in the wrong place … 😂🤣💜💜

The palace used in season 1 and 2 is Stora Sundby Slott, just outside Stockholm and is a public museum.

@@timothymcclaire3276 Well, it’s a private home, not a museum, though some days parts of the palace and the park is open to visitors. It is owned by the Klingspor family since 1888 and it is their home. So not really a museum. 😊❤️

The music in both series is perfect. I totally agree with you about how they played "Lonely Ones". They did something quite similar in the very first episode, in the car as Wille is told he's being shunted off to boarding school. This episode is probably the lowest "low" of S2. Everything that can go runny goes runny with bells on. The acting is absolutely outstanding, and I find the physical change in August when he's with Sara fascinating. He looks like a totally different person!

Hi Anders - thank you! Unfortunately, as it stands I probably won’t be uploading the last 3 Episodes until I get a big chunk of time to edit them. That’s the cruelty of being a content creator is I have to have some return on videos and for some reason these season 2 videos for YR were performing really poorly (not just for me but for every creator) and it just isn’t worth the 3 hour editing time, unfortunately. 😕

Yeah episode 3 really stressed me out. Quite the rollercoaster. The writing, acting, cinematography just the whole production of this show is just amazing.

Me neither, (not knowing a lot about rowing), but never the less I’m convinced it was all Vincent’s fault, and he blamed his own mistakes on poor innocent Simon! 😢😢😢

@@mattallen369 I agree that Vincent's fall was Vincent's fault - if he had bothered to put his own ass on the rowing machine during the training session for his team mates to see how far the seat should be placed in his case it wouldn't have happened. It was his responsibility to instruct them properly as their captain (Nils did it right for him during his turn, but they have already had some experience training and competing together for years). Whispering: but the loss in the competition could also be blamed on Wille. When Simon was rowing after Vincent's fall their team was still in the lead (shown on the scoreboard). They lost when it was Wille's turn to row...

It did seem like Vincent's fault but I'm open to correction. And Simon did say that he didn't like that W & S cheated to get on the team because then Simon would always be the one that got blamed for everything that went wrong.

Nils is either gay or bi, but he keeps it hush-hush. I love poke bowls too! Near me, Prince House makes the best poke bowls. E3 broke me. Just heartbreaking for both of them. When Wille listens to "Lonely Ones", it made me cry. The sound and the lighting for that whole scene with Wille listening to the song is gorgeous, just beautiful! Also, search for the singer reacting to that scene. She knew they were using her song, but didn't know how much of it or which scene it would be in.

I think he is gay but wants to live in discreet. He seems he is one of this guys who will have a wife but will have secret affairs with guys.

@@EmberC Yeah, probably. Madison went down on Nils, but they didn't have intercourse from what they were saying. So Nils is likely gay but would never have an openly gay relationship.

@@lynnhettrick7588 yeah, i think he closed his eyes and imagined a guy when madison gave him a bj. It is his decision but hiding your sexuality must be very exhausting. Living in discreet all the time... i would not choose that way but i dunno about Nils' circumstances though

Like you, I had a sort of conflicted feeling of sympathy towards August when the season began. I thought he seemed genuinely regretful of what he'd done. But this episode is when that feeling started to disappear, and by episode 4, I had no more sympathy for him. Do I think August regrets leaking the video? Yeah, but only because of the impact it had on him. It put him in a precarious legal situation, as well as putting him on Wille's bad side. He regrets hurting Wille, not because he views him as a person, but because he views him as a tool for gaining power. Once he visits the queen, he learns two things: (1) The Royal Court knows what he's done, and rather than punish him, they are actually going to protect him from the legal repercussions. (2) He doesn't need Wille in order to gain power anymore. In fact, his best path now will require betraying Wille even further.
