While I agree with most of what you said, I think the last sentence could be written a little differently. Because it can leave those who have already failed in that area feeling like they are now forever doomed to a worse love due to mistakes they made in their past. And I do not think that is true. Your love with your spouse is only as strong as your relationships with God and the work you put into the love you two share. Plenty of couples who were both virgins get divorced. And plenty of couples where one or both were not virgins, last a lifetime. It is true that statistics do show that virgin couples have lower divorce rates. But I believe that statistic would not be so different if we were to look at the couples of those who were not virgins but had reclaimed purity through redemption in Jesus. The truth is that you should definitely wait for marriage, and if you find someone who also waited then you two have a precious gift. But for those of you who did not wait, hope is not lost. God is the ultimate redeemer and restorer. You are capable of having a love just as deep as if you two were each others only sexual experiences. There will still be more healing in that area, but all things are possible with God. And for those who waited, but are struggling with a spouse’s past sexual sin, just know that God can restore everything. Israel committed adultery on God many times, yet God was able to love just as deeply. In fact, God showed us His love by sending His Son Jesus to save us from our sin. And that is the deepest love. So what deeper love is there than to accept and forgive one another for each others’ pasts and to grow closer to God together for life? Take heart all of you. The enemy wants you to fear, but God wants to grow you. This trial you are facing is building you up for something better.

Having the POV of saving sex for marriage has gotten me made fun of numerous times. I’m 18 and I have yet to even kiss a girl (or be in a relationship period). But I remember this time when I was 15 and I talked to someone I knew. We ended up talking about something related to sex, and I mentioned I was saving mine for marriage. He just praised me and loved my goal-saying he regrets having not saved his virginity. Sexual sins are the hardest sins to resist and overcome. But with God, we can all overcome them and save ourselves. It’s never too late to wait for marriage (even if you’ve already done it). It’s like quitting something-one slip won’t destroy all of your progress; you just have to see where you went wrong and go back to the drawing board to try again. I made the mistake of having sex outside of Marriage 8 times. I didn’t know what “soul ties” meant during that season of my life, but every time I was in a relationship with someone…Sex would happen and deep down I always knew it should wait till after marriage, but at the same time I felt if I didn’t do that with whoever I was with, then they would leave me. That low Self-esteem in me not standing up for what I know is right, and always giving into sex led me to develop depression, never feeling enough for someone, worthless, and even suicidal thoughts entered into my mind. With all this going on, the church that I go to here at home gave me proper resources to help deal with internal problems inside, and I also got put in a small group with young adults that were my age that have gone through similar situations here at my church. Not only Jesus saved my life, but also my small group. And recently I happen to have met my girlfriend in my small group and we’re both have the goal to honor God in our relationship first and foremost. The relationship I’m in I’ve never experienced before with anyone else. Gods way of doing it is so much Better. It is still real everyone.

That was good Jackie. Fornication almost destroyed my life, but God set me free. For a long time I was unable to get free, and was under the assumption that if God wanted me to change, He would change me. He could have, but in my case it took prayer and fasting to break that strong hold. It took pressing into God with all my heart, all my soul, and all my strength just like He said. He say’s behold I stand at the door and knock! He’s literally waiting on you to fully repent and get serious. Those who truly want to get free, and experience true repentance will go all in with Jesus, and stop playing games with Him. We must all realize as Christians that there is a very real enemy in the form of demonic spirits or Satan himself. The longer you leave the door of lust, fornication, adultery, etc…open, you are at high risk for allowing demons not only into your home, but you could become possessed by a demon spirit. I think the only reason why I wasn’t possessed before I got free is because literally every time after I finished the physical act (let’s just say pornography) I never swept it under the rug. I always repented immediately, and would try to forsake that sin no matter how guilty I felt. It seemed counterintuitive, but it wasn’t. However, I kept falling back into that sin, and started to feel helpless and hopeless. Pornography can absolutely get you into a strong hold, and the enemy will put thoughts into your mind that everybody is doing it, and because it’s not a literal physical act, it’s not that bad. DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT. It’s a lie from the pit of hell and you can get free. If I did it, you can do it also. I know many brothers and sisters who are absolutely not looking at porn and are completely free. It’s not impossible. You will not get close to God until you get free of any active sin in your life. I highly recommend prayer and if you’ve never fasted then today is the day to start. Fasting will break that bondage. Fight against your flesh and the enemy, and be set free in Jesus name. Honestly, it feels great to deny my flesh. It hurts sometimes, but it’s all worth it because my relationship with God is pure, and I can go to the levels with Him that are endless. With active sin…you won’t be going far with God.

A tip that really helped me overcome that was I listed and wrote in a journal every characteristic I want in a future wife whether it be physical, values and etc.., and noteing down what I really wanted for e.g connection both physically and spiritually. Once I did this I prayed about this and I am on the journey to achieve the list, and focus on that. when every you feel temptation read your list and remember what you truly desire and what God has planned. Then slowly your habits should change and learn how to occupy your mind and make sure you really trust that God will honour and bless you with a person that fits the criteria. When you are born again (Jn 3:3), you have been bathed/washed with the redemptive, saving blood of Jesus (1Pet 1:18&19, Heb 9:22, Eph 1:7, 1Jn 1:7), and sealed with the Holy Spirit (Who is the guarantee of our redemption, salvation, forgiveness of sins)(Jn 13:6-11, Eph 1:13, 29, 2Cor 1:22, 5:5), and so when you miss the mark and sin, you don't have to be bathed (redeemed, saved, forgiven) again, you just need to figuratively wash the dirt off your feet, for you strayed from walking on the straight and narrow path of righteousness (per your performance/actions), and so you just need to wash yourself with the water of the Word by reminding yourself of the finished and ongoing work of Christ Jesus as your perfect Savior (He's the perfect sin sacrifice(unblemished lamb of God) and the perfect high priest who continually prays for you and presents you Holy and blameless to God the Father (Rom 8:34, Eph 1:4, Col 1:22, Jn 14:6). You just need to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, with the washing with the Water of His Word, which He has already spoken which has already made you clean(Rom 12:2, Jn 15:3, Eph 5:25&26). You can audibly speak out the following to fight those thoughts and feelings of despair and condemnation: There is therefore now no condemnation for me for me for I am in Christ Jesus, and the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has already set me free from the law of sin and death from which I have been legally redeemed (Rom 8:1&2 NASB). I am the redeemed of the Lord, and I say so (Ps 107:2, Job 22:28). Jesus is my righteousness (1Cor 1:30). Jesus, Who knew no sin, became my sin and took the punishment that I deserved for it, so that I could be made the righteousness of God in Him (2Cor 5:21, Is 53:5). Because of God's abundant provision of amazing Grace, and the gift of righteousness, I reign in life and I reign over the sinful desires of my flesh body (Rom 5:17, 4:3, 7:15-35). A righteous man (made righteous in Christ Jesus) may stumble and fall seven times but he gets up again, for the Lord lifts him up and upholds him with His mighty right hand of righteousness (Prov 24:16, Is 41:10, Matt 18:22&22). Sin will no longer master me because I am no longer under the law and the performance of the law system, but I am under God's amazing Grace (Unmerited favor) which empowers me to walk uprightly in victory over sin (Rom 6:14, 18, 22, 1Cor 15:56&57, Rom 5:20&21, Rom 10:4, Gal 5:4, 3:9-11). Hi Jackie, first time looking at your channel, which popped up in my feed. I am an ex-christian and you remembered me how devoted I was 10 years ago. No doubt that period of my life was good for my soul and I met a lot of excellent people. However as I grew older I started to feel more and more that christianity was a suit that was getting too tight. Different experiences in my life helped me to broaden my vision of life, of what's correct and what's not. For example, my sister came out as a lesbian and since then I see her so happy, I realised there's no wrong in homosexuality. Another example: I experienced being in an open relationship which was such a joy to me. Third: I have met amazing people with different beliefs than mine. If I could describe my relationship with the christian god, it would be a toxic relationship. I felt guilty so often, and then came crying again at his feet for mercy. Later I realised I often felt guilty for very silly things. Guilt was the way this belief had control over me. The sum of all those experiences made me choose to leave christianity and become an agnostic. I've never felt so free in my life. It was a long process though, for me it took 24 full years to finaly decide this by myself. Now I am 33 years old, 9 years being agnostic. I think you are very smart, smart enough not to trick yourself forever. It is not a sin to try to view life from a different point of view, different to what is written in the bible, at least for a second, and think how would it be if this or that were different. You are still young, but at some point years will go by, just don't live the life others are imposing you to live. This is the message I would write to my 23 years old full devoted self. Cheers :)

Very good wisdom shared here. Abstinence is only difficult if we make it difficult. God calls us to wait until marriage. That is the end of the discussion. Yes, our sex drives are powerful forces, but they are not excuses to fornicate. If being abstinent is too much, then don't follow Christ. We can't follow Christ and have our sin on the side. The Christian walk is not easy or for the faint of heart. It requires genuine sacrifice. But the rewards of following Christ are so much greater than what the world offers.

Her comments about soul ties are real. My wife was a prophetic inner healer, a truly awesome woman of God. She had gone through Biblical Counseling School, and sat under some Holy Spirit led teachers. She taught me about soul ties, and one example of this biblically was David and Jonathan. When you have sex outside of marriage, the soul tie that is created becomes a four-lane highway for any evil spirits affecting that person - they now get access to you. If you are wondering why you are struggling spiritually, and you have done this, even just some touching, you will probably have to ask Jesus to sever the soul ties between you and that/those person(s). We do not have the power to cut soul ties ourselves, although we can create them by our choices. Jesus can cut them at our request. When He does so, do NOT spend time thinking about that person, dwelling on them, or you can form a new soul tie. Move on. If they keep coming to mind despite your best efforts, pray and ask the Lord to show you why. There might be a forgiveness issue, or trauma that needs healing by our Lord, or some other reason. Pray, and fast if you need to, until you get to the root cause of why you can't let go. Sex also can have a powerful hold on your soul, and Jesus can help you get free of that. The enemy likes to try to create addiction if he can, so you can ask Jesus to free you of any type of addiction. Jesus freed me from sugar addiction, which was harming my life. Now I can eat something sweet without being overwhelmed with cravings. The power of God is key to freedom. In like manner, Jesus can free people from sex addiction too, although there are more aspects to it than a simple food addiction, like the ego boost, or perhaps a sense of personal value you might feel from the act. There are layers to why we do things, especially sinful things, and fasting and praying is a great way to get insight from Jesus as to our deeper motivations if we are not in touch with them. I remember a testimony from a young married couple in their mid-20's. It was about sex when married but more specifically lust when married and they talked about how even if they were kind of addicted or maybe just had cultivated a bad habit it didn't bring more happiness to the couple. And I lost someone dear to my heart, my beautiful daughter Marina. I know I brought her in this world in the wrong way, and I ask God to forgive me for what I did. As you mentioned, to your live video, the two are unite as one. And when the two are united as one, we share each other's trouble. That's what happened to me got my life destroy. It brought me pain, suffering, and heartbreaking. Very good video and information. I have also learned the hard way. It's tough once you understand these truths. At my age of 60. God has blessed me with unusually youthfull health for my age. But this lust business deceived me to marry the wrong woman. Relocating myself 3000 miles from my home base, And at 23 we are not always very wise. I took the leap. Fast forward 13 years of a not so good marriage, and two sons. Well lessons learned. My thinking at this place in my life, if God does not place the right person in front of you, with the angels in heaven singing, move through the paths of righteousness in singleness. I have been completely single for about 3 years now. It's highly underrated. I do not hesitate to say, I have more peace of mind than I ever had.

I am grateful that God kept me from fornication. I used to smoke consistently and for a summer, got drunk every weekend, but when women offered themselves to me, I could not accept, because that was wrong, ha, but I could justify drinking and smoking. Then one night, as I staggered up the stairs at my sisters house, God impressed on me that the fun drunk experience turns to lying on the street clutching a brown paper bag with bottle of liquor and from a drunk disposition, I repented. I want Jesus and more as the moments pass by.

Great message Sister Jackie, but since I turned 40 this year, I fear facing a midlife crisis that would affect my walk in Christ, especially since I've been a late bloomer since gradeschool because of autism, and never had a girlfriend because of shyness. Since I'm still struggling with loneliness and depression it's been overwhelming for me 😥. I still cannot find my way in life in terms of relationships including careers and I spent most of my early youth in adulthood working and studying and I feel I missed out on a lot.
