Jacknife RC Truck Lithium Ion Conversion

How to retrofit and revive your old NiMH remote control cars to modern lithium ion 18650 cells. Also, turning a Tyco Jacknife into an off road reconnaissance drone for some reason?

I had one of these as a kid. I cut open the top of the trailer and would truck around some gravel and dump it off a small cliff out behind my grandpas house. That cliff seemed so high, but it was actually only like 12 feet or less. Wish we were able to keep his home in the family after he passed... Anyways this made me think of him for some reason, thanks!

I remember losing the truck and having the trailer in my dads backyard for years wishing I knew where the front half was, everytime I thought about it, it made me happy thinking back to the times I spent playing in the snow bc I got it as a Christmas gift

I just found my old Jacknife. Apparently the batteries don’t hold any charge. Just found your video and really help me encourage to install new batteries on it.

holy crap! i brought mine out for the first time in probably 20 years and stuck the battery in the charger for the listed 4 hours.......the damn thing still holds a charge and works! gahhh its so much fun! XD will have to see how long it lasts though lol
