Thank you for your video. I bought the 9 inch unit and had it installed on my CRV. I absolutely love it! The sound quality is superb. How did you set up live wallpapers on the android 10 unit?

Just press and hold the background and select live wallpaper. You have to download the ones you want from the play store first

I love your videos since I just began a 2021 CRV Joying journey for this same head unit. I do have a question if you can help. I have a 2021 EX with the stock 7 inch screen, but when I'm done plugging the "B" harness into the Joying there are still connectors from the factory harness that dont have anywhere to go and im wondering what I'm losing? Obviously, they originally had a connection on the back of the OEM radio.

Shouldn't be loosing anything. One of the connectors goes to the factory screen which is seperate from the stereo as well as the remote AM/FM tuner.

If not I understand. I’d be willing to pay you to help me troubleshoot the issue to save me from going to a professional installer.

You should reach out to Joying directly. The Touring has a very sophisticated factory system and I'm not sure what all is involved in replacing it

Im deciding on replacing the base stereo with joying but the installers are scaring me regarding joying. And ofc hoping i buy the alpine, kenwood, sony or jvc head unit through them - i understand their are pros & cons to big brands wbut i also know they go for $300 for parts on top of joying which includes everything. Can anyone help me get an unbiased & realistic comparison on these units? Joying looks good & the android 12 system with 8-128gb really feels like a top performer - the alpine 11 is easily $1600-1800 so help me decide?

No 2017 CR-V has tpms sensors. They use an "indirect" system that measures wheel speed to calculate a tire lea, so no.

I have a 2022 EXL, and I'm not happy with the Android Auto feature. I purchased a wifi dongle which worked for about 7 months, meaning I did not have to USB cable my cell phone in order to utilize navi, streaming, or hands-free phone service. Since that no longer works, the Dealer's solution is for me to USB cable attach my phone. This is not acceptable, as it overheats my phone (keeping it at 100% charge), and it's just plain bothersome with cables laying on the console, attaching/detaching, etc. Will installing the Android 10 unit improve this situation and eliminate having to use a USB cable?

It has wireless carplay and Android Auto yes. I'm not sure it's as worthwhile of an upgrade if you have a factory navigation system though. You might want to try another wireless adapter first. But if you do want more functionality and a larger screen to joying unit is the way to go

​@@JackofAllMasterofNone I only have navigation and hands-free phone services via Android Auto, and even then, only if I either use a USB cord or a WiFi dongle. I did just order another WiFi dongle arriving in a few days "Carlinkit 5.0". Hopefully, that will work.

It's in the factory settings app. And the dealer is stupid because they can reset it with HDS (their scantool) in about 30 seconds. But it is on the head unit in the factory settings application in the app drawer
