The only people I’ve seen say men can’t be harassed are men or people who have been lucky enough to where they haven’t experienced it. That or when a women makes a video talking about her experience and boys try and discredit her by changing the subject. Men can and absolutely do get assaulted/harassed.

@@BabyGirl-oo6ws Well from my experience it's been the other way around, more women saying that men can't be harassed and men being mostly supportive. And for the discredit thing, sadly it always happens, someone talks about men's problems someone says "but women..." someone talks about women's problems someone says "but men..." People in general should really try to have more emphaty and less ego.

People who lean into parasocial relationships like that person clearly did are so fucking weird to me. Like, you do realize that you don’t actually know this person right? Except they don't realize that & often times really feel like they know someone just because they watch them live stream all the time or watch their videos. Super strange & bizarre behavior.

It's not strange at all. This has been documented of the Beatles and Elvis with women literally fainting in concerts. Especially when you have songs like "Can't Help Falling In Love" - just listen to the lyrics - despite having only heard it on the radio. A lot of people who watched Top Gun ended up joining the Navy.
@CrystalRose11112 жыл бұрын
The sad thing is it’s not bizarre, it’s actually very common and it’s only weird to the person on the other side of the screen. The whole point of parasocial relationships is that the “celebrity” or social media figure talks to the viewer and shares personal information, like a friend would. The viewer feels a connection and forms feelings about said social figure. Meanwhile the social figure has no idea the viewer exists. People live online and are socially inept, and unfortunately aren’t taught about boundaries.

And then there was this other dude who told me that the diarrhea I was experiencing in the morning was because he did something to me the night before. And these were all men and I'm straight. There was one time this female nurse after visiting for a second time for a follow up appointment came up from behind me and literally just put her body against my back and her face on my neck and said "you know you make me crazy."
