I think it's so strange yet amazing to play with people without communicating anything but chirps. You have no idea who it is or where they are but you play this amazing game and bond. You can't speak or anything and it's just so cool to see another with you in the vast world of this game sticking by you. I just think it's an awesome online mechanic. If you think about it, it's really something special.

yes! sky: children of light(the game made by the same company, after journey) kept that same concept!! it’s amazing, honestly. there’s a whole welcoming, kind community of players all around the world, able to communicate with a couple gestures and calls/chirps!!

Copperhead idk why but people do bond better with this mechanic, I’ve been playing Sky: Children of the Light which has the same mechanic and ur able to make close friends so easily, even without actual talking u will often find urself giggling and smiling or even playing with the beeps with others. Best part is that it still keeps the game toxic free no matter what

when journey first came out i fell in love with it but i couldn’t play it myself (my parents were suspicious of any game that wasn’t lego), and i found sky a few months ago and have absolutely fallen in love with that, too- anyway it’s great fun coming back to journey and being able to see what parts of this game were carried through to sky :) both such wonderful pieces of art

I feel that Journey is similar to shadow of the colossus as it is also a journey. There's no concrete story given and you're just left in this large world to discover and explore and you take out of it what you like. Also, if you do a Shadow of the Colossus video, I think it might be nicer if you toned down your hyperness for it, but I'd watch it regardless.

The left side of the map was completely overlooked. However! The beauty of this game is how easy it is to come back for a new Journey and find what you missed during previous adventures. Side note: the lights in the sky indicate that someone else has completed their journey, kinda like how you hear the bell ring when someone beats the Belltower gargoyles in Dark Souls.

This game is/was a great game that allowed you to experience a world without prejudice(such as views, gender, race, or disability), and simply enjoy the solitude of achieving your goal without feeling obligated or hassled when another person came into play, as they could do no harm or hindrance to you, and maybe even missing them when they're gone. Ah, I want another Journey-like game to come out. #2016-2017

Very Maternal in it's context. So many references. Volcano always looks like the female vessel. The cave with the light. dainty movement. The white diaity, looks over the player like a mum. Encourages and shows him the way. I bet the dad is a nasty bastard!

He didn't change, these old videos aren't the real him, it was a false mask he put up to hide how energetic and loud he is and he was trying to disguise his accent. If his old viewers left because he finally felt comfortable and confident enough to be who he is then I'm glad they left because he deserves viewers who love him for who he is and let him be himself. I do agree that he was more calming before however if people are looking for that then I'm sure another KZbinr is calmer however Jack is Jack and his bubbliness makes him him (if that makes sense)
