Yup. I saw him play from about 5 feet away at UT-Austin's Cactus Cafe a few years ago. Naturally, I already knew his work with JB, plus solo and other recordings. David Lindley was a singular talent.

He is the poet of this era. His song lyrics provide insight into our social well being.

It's a crime that these 2 guitar players didn't make the Rolling Stone top 100.

With the hate and discontent today in America this song has never been more appropriate. It truly stands the test of time, on a level of “Let It Be”.

@@Vent-Rat lol i love the rapid proliferation and level of sophistication of terms we now have to identify less than saintly behaviors from all and any.

Bart Ramsey and Jumping Man Records salute Raccoon Records and also Jackson Browne, even though he's just a lucky bastard to be so dang talented. He's also a great humanitarian. As virtuosos go, it's great to see David Lindley on the gig. And who is that electric guitar player? Whatever happened to crediting the musicians? Wonderful rendition of that song, by the way. And what festival are they playing at? I'd only kind of like to know because so many people are wearing hats and looking relatively enlightened.

Is this JazzFest in NOLA?
@als32435 жыл бұрын
No, in an earlier video he says he's in Philadelphia. I didn't know Pennsylvania looked like that. Also its date late June of 2010, which is too late for Jazz fest.

I think it's The Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England.

WHY can't someone trim the excess off the silly wrist bands the artists have to wear for the convenience of security?
