Ive never pid much attention to Linda Ronsadt and after watching a couple of clips , I know why.....her voice is nothing special, no depth or power. YMMV obviously .

If this song would have been on their first or second album in the early 70s, I can't help but think it would have made their greatest hits album. This version is sooo much better than the later attempt since Leadon and Miesner were on vocals.

I was stationed Naples Italy when this came out. This brings back memories of the summer on Capri with this song playing from the open air shops. At 70 years old I long to return to those days.

First time I heard her in my mind she was the only female country rock worthy of listening to. I have since developed a less prejudicial pallet for music. Her voice is angelic and like me she is Hispanic and German, that’s how I heard it.
