Not so long ago, I took an online class on The Sagas Of The Icelanders just to challenge myself. This was the first saga ccovered in the class. This summary is great; mostly because you preserve the sense of humor. Thanks for this and all of your videos.

It's kind of funny that people like to contrast Thorkel from Gisli as not valuing family ties as strongly, while Ari's over in Norway the entire saga having nothing to do with them until the feud is pretty much over.
