He's not as good laterally as a Barry Sanders. He's doesn't have top-end speed like a Chris Johnson. He's not as strong as a Bo Jackson or Earl Campbell. But, he has better straight-line acceleration (his BURST) than any of them, and he has ENOUGH balance/lateral-speed/strength/vision/patience to take advantage of it. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have McCaffery than Barkley just because I think McCaffery was BORN to play football. Barkley was just born with the physical gifts. There is a difference.

Is there anything Christian can't do? My fault. Is there anything Christian can't do very well? His discipline, footwork, route precision, and football IQ are off the charts. His commitment and effort are 10/10th's every down. As a former high-level starting quarterback, I can tell you he is the greatest asset any field general could have in his arsenal. He is always where he is supposed to be, doing what he's supposed to be doing, and he let's you know "I'm right here!", if you need me. Even at the highest professional level (1,700 men on Earth) this is very rare. McCaffrey's skill position habit's are extraordinary.

CMac stays on the field like an 80s and 90s back. 20-30+ touches a game makes him a legend in the making, but he'll have a shorter career. I'm a Panthers' fan, but I'd love for the kid to get a breather every once in a while. I'd like for him to have a long, productive career, but he's on the field way too much. Hopefully, a better passing game will afford him more time to rest. Stay healthy and off the Madden cover, Run CMC🙏🏽

Thanks for the vid. I'm a rugby fan so don't know the nfl terminology but the second touchdown appeared to be made with great route running. He turned ready to receive and faked a step to the near sideline. The defensive back bit on that, giving McCaffrey an extra yard of space when he went back the other way (which was likely his intention). Thanks again. Loving watching McCaffrey do his thing.

When you take ALL his character traits and add them all up, it's hard to find an argument "against" him being the best player in football right now. On the field, off the field..................not many with better attributes. When one reaches a pint in their NFL career where they now have "a bullseye" on themselves by opposing players and teams, that is when you have been paid the ultimate compliment. I believe run CMC is in that category of players. The gig is up.................players KNOW this man is arguably the most dangerous man in football and that is the ultimate compliment to him. As long as the Panthers surround him with other dangerous weapons, opposing teams will be forced to play CMC honest and THAT ALONE should allow him to continue to dominate on the field. Bringing in TB was a smart move because he can RUN as well and help keep the defenses honest. I think the Panthers have turned the corner and are heading in the right direction. I just hope they don't expect too much of themselves too soon. They have NOT arrived at elite team status, but are on their way. Patience on the part of the club and their fans will be paramount.

He's done that alot and stuff like that can come back to hurt him. He can't be selfish. If he has the first down and can go out of bounds vs getting an extra 2 yards and taking a hard hit. That's what I mean. All coaches will say that. Don't be selfish, that extra little bit doesn't help you. Live to play another down and force extra hits on yourself

Couple recommendations: - You started out the video by basically saying the same thing twice. I almost moved on just because of that. Glad I didn't because this is an awesome breakdown. Make sure you're making your point once (except the part about how fun he is to watch - that deserves a 2nd and 3rd mention, because it's fun to say too lol. - You seem educated enough about football to throw in other player's names instead of "this player", "that player". This would definitely add a level of professionalism that you deserve a claim to. Excellent work. If I see another of similar quality by you, you'll have a new subscriber.

McCaffrey isn't the best back at any one specific thing (power, speed, agility, receiving, vision, balance, blitz pickup, etc.). But he's probably second or third best at everything. That makes him the best back in the league, to me. Christian has trained himself to sprint for the goal as if he's running track, no looking around, no seeing who's on his tail, nothing like others do. A lot of running backs need to watch and learn. I thought Leveon had incredible balance and juking ability till he came along. My fave move of him is when he’s running full speed towards a db act like he’s gonna go cross his body to make him turn his hips and he turns the other way. Running backs do this just not as smooth and it seems like he doesn’t have to slow down one bit to pull his off. It’s crazy almost guaranteed to make the first open field tackler miss. Analyze last Sunday's Panthers vs Bucs re/McCaffrey's performance and how the Bucs defended him effectively, as they did the earlier game.

They stack the box with 8, and dare the QB to throw. First game Cam threw 50 times, Allen took more advantage, but a good QB would destroy a defense that kept 8 in the box almost every play.

Scrimmage yards record isn't gonna be broken. It's to hard for RBs to break 2300 yards. Every year we had an RB rip shit up the first 5-7 games of the season. Saquon, Zeke, David Johnson, over the last 4 years. 1 injury, beat up O-Line,any factors. Sure he's flat out amazing but 2500 yards is a ton.

That undrafted free agent RB Matt Brieda just ran 22 mph for an 83 yard td and had a game where he juked out 6 defenders. His average is far better than McCaffrey! Just doesn't get 20+ Carrie's and shares the workload with another terrific back, tevin Coleman. Niners are #1 for rushing yards in the league and have only played 4 games.

So what your telling me is they have an excellent run blocking teams and multiple other backs on the team that can produce in their offense. And that Breida is much fresher than McCaffrey because he doesn’t have to touch the ball 25 to 30 times a week wearing him down. It’s harder for a defense to clue in on a running back that’s constantly rotating in with other running backs. The defense knows Christian is the number 1,2,3 option on almost every play and he still averages over 170 scrimmage yards per game. I won’t even mention Jimmy G vs Kyle Allen. Please just stop

@@TylerMThomas20 Stop what I'm not even a niners fan are you delusional? Kyle Allen plays in a simple offensive scheme. Takes very few to get Shanahans offense, mans a genius. I'll compare niners fans to Carolina fans anyday. Dynasty upon Dynasty , absolute joke. Kyle Allen has played 5 games.

Mackay Creative you think I was trying to say Kyle Allen is better than Jimmy G? Lmao no. My point is Breida has a better QB that helps their run game. Kyle is average and a game manager at best currently at this point in his career. Meaning Christian has all eyes on him by the D. Breida is just one of many weapons so it’s easier for him to produce. Bottom line, give Breida the same amount of touches as Christian and I promise you his ypc and yards per reception will not be as high.

Mackay Creative and you seriously wanna trash Carolina fans about dynasty talk. The Panthers are only in their 25th season. They went to a NFC Championship in only their second season. And yeah no Super Bowls but they went to 2 in their first 21 seasons which is more appearances than the 49ers in that time frame.
