Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department Hazmat Team responds to Suspicious package

Most often the fire department responds to emergent situations in which seconds can mean lives...this is not necessarily the case as the hazmat team from Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department responds to a suspicious package in a government building.
This is RAW scene footage from the incident on a hot Florida day...so the action isn't as fast paced as many of our videos, this operation is very manpower intensive and busy downtown streets had to be closed down for hours at rush time for everyone's safety.
On this day, the entire building was confined to shelter in place beyond their normal working hours until the scene was deemed safe for all.

This was a suspicious package call...a substance came out of an envelope and the handlers felt a reaction to it.
