What a neat little tiny home you can camp in and haul with your ebike. A very relaxing time with you best buddy too. I just lost my loyal, zany, loving Husky to cancer. On the heater, take one of those metal mesh paint trays, hook it over the heater handle, then lay it down flat across top of heater. THEN, set a heat activated fan, like for a woodstove, on top of the tray. It will disperse the heat better through the camper and away from the ceiling. It will amaze you, too, at how much heat just the pilot light puts out. There are several videos on KZbin on how to do this. Enjoyed the video!

You think of everything from you and ellie wearing safety orange to having your coffee ready to brew.😊 you know I'm in my late 50s and I just want to say Jack you are doing life the right way! The reason I connect with your solo camping is the last immediate family member I had left in my life was my son John, I received a phone call 12/25/20 that my only child was found outside his apartment deceased. I am not mentioning this horrific incident in my life to draw attention I'm merely pointing out the reason why I can relate so much to your solo camping experiences. I scrolled down through your comments and I have to say that the people on here committing are folks who dream or imagine what it's like to be you or what it's going to be like when they have a opportunity to experience what you do on a regular basis. Hi Jack and Ellie. That little camper would be so cool to stay in in a rain shower. Oh wow i would have had to give Ellie a great look over for the ticks . I hope you vacuum your little camper out to get any ticks that may be left. Its really crazy how ticks are making people allergic to red meat if they get bite by the ticks . The heat mostly goes upward, so directly off the side isn’t quite as hot as that. Either way, we didn’t run it very long this trip due to the lack of heat shield 👍🏽

I love your camping adventures. So true to the spirit of camping. One of the handiest items I've ever come across is a 'pocket bellows.' It's the size of a rollerball ink pen. What you do is, telescope it out and blow air into the campfire. It's inexpensive and great kit to own.

Another wonderful video, Jack. Beautiful camera work. Your tiny bike cabin reminds me of the 6' x 6' tent I backpacked all over the world in, in the 1980s. 35 countries and principalities.. Technically it was a "two man" tent, but it was just right for one person. I slept in it diagonally, but couldn't quite stand up in it. Isn't it great to have a tiny cocoon to get back to, especially in inclement weather? I also carried a thermal sleeping bag and a tiny, collapsible butane cooking stove. Wonderful times. But I didn't have a great dog like Ellie with me. Blessings to you, Riley, Olivia and Ellie.

Jack, I'm glad you can give Ellie her best adventurous life. You don't stop her from much of her enjoyment. My American Pit Conan would love it if he could work better (he's 9 and had a tough life before me) You guys brighten up the end of my night before bed. It's so peaceful to watch you guys.

Hi Jack. Thanks for sharing this vlog and the hikes with Ellie along with the cozy cabin in the rain. The bike cabin seemed much smaller (on the outside) to me this time but then I realized that was probably because the last vlog I enjoyed was about the 'big' tiny cabin. FYI- I lived in upstate NY for many years sharing many hikes with my pup- you are right: just best experience in world. Wanted to share that there is no tick 'season'- they are out all year round- even in deep snow. Of course they are more plentiful in 'non snow' seasons, but you will still get them in snowy winter (been there, done that!) especially if you are frequently hiking in woods. But just plan for it and keep enjoying all of nature's beauty. Thanks again.

Just so you know there is some scent that ticks don't like maybe you can find something you can spray on you and your pup there just make sure it won't make her sick or you..
