​@@majsing_xd1032I was in about the same situation as yours: Finished the story mode and practicing combos in the training mode for a long time. But in about five online matches or so, after learning about how my opponent attack and defend, I was able to get my first win. Now I am hooked in at 170 hrs.

It's true that combo in this game can seems scary to do, especially the super technical ones. Even for me, thought i wouldn't be good at it.... but now, as a semi competitive player with 700+ hours, i don't regret it. I'm mot the best that for sure but I'm at least decent with every characters in the game so that's good for me 😊

For your team set it up as UI Goku, Hit, Janemba. For assists, choose whichever for UI, C for Hit will be amazingly helpful for you, and Janemba A assist is also very useful. When Deions feeling better you can get a lot of pointers from him on Hit and Janemba

If you want to continue to play 2d fighters, the best advice I got was when on the defensive or even in neutral is to block low. Low attacks are the fastest moves in the game. Near unreactable. The only attacks that get through a low block are overhead attacks and grabs, which in most games, are telegraphed. So you're able to react to them

As a FighterZ Day 1 Hit main. He is ANYTHING but beginner friendly, but he is insanely fun when you can "get into a flow" with his movement and "stance" based moveset. If you're willing to stick with him I wish you the best on your journey with the *s t a n c e* And a tip, set hits "Assist" to *ASSIST C* its crazy good. (Note, tap the left bumpers lightly for assist, hold down to swap characters. Top bumper for the 2nd character Back bumper for the 3rd) And now that you've seen the broly film Gogeta is cracked and fun. This is probably biased since my team has been HIT GOGETA UI GOKU since they've been released.

some advice on characters, Bardock you can just mash like a monkey and probably win, UI goku takes at least 10 minutes in training mode to have mastered him, and SSJ4 Gogeta just try and get 7 levels to cheese a win. those three are(in my opinion) the easiest characters in the game.

Love this game but this and Injustice 2 and Jojos Battle R, i absolutely had having to pull back to Block. Worst way to block. If it was holding right trigger then ok. FighterZ i use Hit, Cooler, Janemba.
